Guide Camilla was a gem - as an art restoration expert, she really provided an in-depth tour of the galleries and focuses on very interesting works and shared the back stories. The background on the families that lived in the Palace nicely complimented the other tours we did in Florence. The garden tour was amazing and well worth the time.
Amazing!!! Great tour, lots of information and passion, great restaurant recommendations and well done tour.
An imposing structure that offers, inside, more attractions: in addition to the Palatine Gallery, visit the Royal Apartments (guided entries every 30 minutes, with tickets - free - to be picked up at the booth on the ground floor/ cloister, the cost of which is already included in the general admission ticket). Unfortunately, the Boboli Gardens were largely under construction, making it more of an open-air construction site than an open-air museum.
Camilla was an excellent guide. Very enthusiastic about her work and was able to pick up on our singular interests for a more in-depth explanation.
Our guide was very friendy and informative.
Your tour guide, Alberta, was incredibly helpful. She not only possesses deep knowledge of the art pieces at the Palazzo Pitti, but her acute observations and witty humor were also greatly appreciated. On a personal note, she took excellent care of me when I had to be hospitalized. She acted as my translator on the spot and handled all the necessary arrangements. Her reassurance and calm voice were invaluable. She even went out of her way to ensure the other tourists felt comfortable. I never expected that joining a tour would provide not only a knowledgeable local guide, but also someone who could offer such vital support during a medical emergency.
Camilla was a great guide, very knowledgeable and patient! The palace and gardens was beautiful. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Lovely place but quite a lot was closed for works which would have been good to know before buying our tickets
Excellent guided experience. I was happy with our guide who explained clearly everything what we saw.
It was hands down the best tour I’ve done in Italy so far, so much information and out guide structured the tour to our interests. We were lucky there was only 5 of us, but wow what a tour.
