It wasn’t a good experience. There was only one of the crew members dressed as a pirate. It was boring. No pirate show, either. The food was tasteless and cold. It wasn’t worth the money. Would never do it again.
We originally had this scheduled for the previous day, but were contacted to reschedule to be able to snorkel due to weather. In any case, we weren’t able to snorkel on the rescheduled one either, but weren’t told until we were already out on the water. Beyond their control, I know, but would have been nice to choose to still go or look at another option. The crew was great, but geared more to a party atmosphere rather than family at this point 🫣. Inappropriate songs with explicit lyrics, and shouts to take “shots shots shots” which made some patrons quite rowdy and belligerent. Overall an ok time, but definitely some room for improvement. Angela, however, whom kept in contact about transportation to and from the event, and other details was AMAZING!
We had a great experience on our pirate ship and snorkel cruise! The crew were fantastic! They took great care of us throughout the day. We got great pictures at the arch and we were pleasantly surprised to see a mama and baby whale as we cruised up the coastline along with a pod of dolphins. The snorkeling in Chileno Bay was full of colorful fish and the lunch was a perfect ending to the cruise. I thought it was a great value for the price and we had only 10 people on board with us!
I have to say we were very disappointed. Lunch was ridiculous! Extremely salty hot dog wieners no hot dog buns , just hot dog wieners , not edible. Pasta salad? Where's the Mexican food? Why are we getting pasta salad? That was disappointing. Some kind of burrito wrap with I don't even know what was in it and helped the hunger but the whole lunch buffet was horrible. Unfortunately , everybody that went in the water to snorkel , got stung by jellyfish. I would think you would be able to tell if there were jellyfish in the water before people got in. They said it was jellyfish season. Who wants to pay that kind of money to go snorkeling during jellyfish season. And what kind of show was supposed to be put on? There was nothing. They did gather all the kids together for a few minutes, but that was not entertainment. The 3 of us vacationers were not happy.
It was an incredible experience, Alejandra the girl who directs all the activities that are carried out on the tour is incredible, has an energy that infects you, and you have a lot of fun, all the time she is aware of if you need something like her companions of the boat. The food they offer you is very rich, and where they take you snorkeling is beautiful! If you come to the Capes it is an experience that you cannot miss!
Our family of 5 had a wonderful afternoon on the snorkeling tour. The boat ride out past the arch was nice. The drinks were plentiful and lunch was good. Snorkeling was fun, tons of fish were around us. Jumping off the boat into the water was a highlight for the kids. On the way back we were lucky to encounter a family of whales and had amazing views of the whales breaching. We loved it!
This was a fantastic trip. The staff was wonderful. The lunch was yummy. We saw so many whales and jumping stingray.
We booked the Pirate Ship excursion in Los Cabos through our resort, Krystal Grand Los Cabos, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! The experience was so much fun from start to finish and is especially great for families with kids. The tour was about four hours in total and felt like the perfect length—long enough to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. The excursion included a really good, hearty lunch and an open bar, which was a great bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the trip. We were taken out to see the famous El Arco, which was beautiful, and along the way we saw lots of whales and even a stingray—such an amazing experience! After that, we stopped at Chileno Beach for snorkeling. The water was clear, and we saw plenty of fish. They provided all the equipment, including snorkels and life jackets, with sizes available for both kids and adults, which made everything really easy and convenient. There was also entertainment on board with games and activities, which kept things fun and engaging the whole time—especially for the kids. Overall, this was such a fun, well-organized excursion with great staff, good food, and amazing sights. The price for everything was good too. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Los Cabos, especially families looking for a memorable and enjoyable day out on the water.
Booked this via Princess Cruises as a shore excursion. Took 3 teenagers and had a blast. So much fun. Great photo moments, amazing food and drink!
Great experience So much fun! We were actually a bit late, because our shiip didn’t let us deport on time and this excursion waited for us
