Enjoy lunch at Mee Ton Poe, a long-established Phuket restaurant known for its Hokkien-style noodles. Choose one dish from a curated menu of Thai favorites — the signature Hokkien noodles, Pad Thai, Phat Kaphrao, Tom Yum noodles, Sweet & Sour, Fried Rice.
At Wat Chalong (Chalong Temple), Phuket’s most well-known temple, your guide explains how local people typically visit temples in simple, friendly terms. This Phuket City tour was amazing. Our guide Noom and our driver Tee were the best. We were provided with so much local information and cold drinks along the way. It was easy to see how proud they were of their town. We had lunch at the popular Mee Ton Poe. It was delicious. We saw the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong Temple and were taught how to fold lotus flowers, and walked around the colourful Phuket Old Town. We had a great afternoon out the weather was kind to us too. Rainy (Tour guide) and her side kick (Driver) were a great team. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable in a new city. Great way to see some of the sites of Phuket. Our tour guide (Noom?) was very kind and knowledgeable. He made sure to keep us hydrated with water and sodas throughout the day. Seeing the big Buddha was really cool!
