Petra, the Rose-Red City, was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom whose ruins remained hidden to most of the world until the Swiss explorer, JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city in 1812. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Meet your private guide at the site and hike or ride a horse down to the entrance of the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the Treasury. The tour continues to the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater and the Royal Tombs. Note that travel time is 3 hours driving from Amman to Petra and another 3 hours.

the driver was on time, professional and everything. however, the tour doesn't include the entrance ticket , nor return. So you have to pay for return transportation fee and entrance ticket and guide tour (if needed). In the end, the total fee to visit Petra was not cheap (tour, entrance, return transportation). it is not a tour I would do several times due to high cost and distance from Amman.

i checked all the company in jordan and no one was offering this trip, it was my dream to visit petra by night without sleeping at petra because i didn't had time as my flight landed at 9 am and was leaving back at 11:45 pm. when i meet the driver at airport he was so great when he asked me if i needed anything before leaving airport, and on the way he give me a lot of information about petra and the tour, my guide was so great for the visit and he was extremely polite and funny for sure everyone must visit petra and if you had the chance also petra by night
