Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco





Description
You will cook 3 Peruvian courses and 2 cocktails. Our Peruvian Cooking, cocktails and market tour starts at San Pedro Market (door number 1), with a visit to this historical market. We will try some of the most exotic fruits of Peru ( super foods) After that, we will walk to our bar studio, a traditional house from 1930. We start our experience preparing the most delicious cocktails with fresh fruits (bought in the local market we visited) and Pisco. You will cook: peruvian tamal (quinoa), cebiche and causa limeña. Our class is full hands on and you will take part in all the preparation. After the class we will also send you the recepies, so then you can enjoy it with your family and friends. Notice: The cocktails and cooking experiences in Cusco are in the morning and in the afternoon. * In the morning from 10:00 to 14:15 * In the afternoon from 15:30 to 19:45 Our dishes are easy to be converted into vegetarian. Well worth it! Learned a lot about Peruvian cuisine and how Chef Jesus and team put a twist on dishes. Very good food - expect it as your big meal of the day. Chef Carlos was friendly and informative. The kitchen staff were kind and thorough. The market was fun to experience, especially tasting all the unique foods. Use the time to buy food-as-souvenirs while ya there. Highly recommend.
I had this cooking class with Carlos and we met at the market. He is very knowledgeable and engaging in his teaching methods and was able to give an idea of the history of the dishes we have eaten. The entire class was about three and a half hours but time well spent! We made a total of two cocktails: maracuya sour and chicha punch. For the main courses we had causa de la limena, ceviche, and quinoa tamales. For dessert we have picaronnes. This combination of putting a twist on classic peruvian dishes made the experience all the more enjoyable! I highly recommend attending this class as you will learn much to take with you home.

Great experience, Carlos is an excellent instructor and guide. He used to be a former chef and it really showed in how he taught the class. The class was also unique in its flavor profile with making a mix of more classic and Asian influenced Peruvian dishes. We booked this last minute and was worth every penny!
