I went on a Quito City Sights tour with my tour group - no teleférico and little sightseeing. The 'tour' seemed to be an opportunity to drag us into overpriced shops for excessive amounts of time, resulting in the sights we were supposed to see being cut short even though we finally finished the tour 1.5 hours later than promised. The lunch, which everyone had to attend even if they chose not to eat, was cheap but disgusting. We saw the monument only through the window of the lunch place and there was no description about what the monument was commenorating, etc. The time at actual sights was rushed. Nathaly's description of the sights was hard to follow, lacking in information, and dismissive of questions.

This experience was great. Diego was an amazing guide and got me to so many of Quitos top sites in one day. He was very informative and helpful! Highly recommend this tour!
Diego was a fantastic tour guide! We enjoyed our day tour in beautiful Quito. He was very knowledgeable of the area and also provided us with some history of the area as well as surrounding provinces. His English was perfecto!

There is a lot of traffic in Quito, so driving around does take some time. Our guide and driver, Diego, did a great job.
I was very disappointed in this tour, especially given the price. The night before the tour, we had not heard when or where we would be picked up, and when I tried to communicate with them, they were not very responsive or friendly. We showed up right at 8:30am that morning and no one was there. Still I hadn’t heard from the tour guide at all. Eventually the tour guide arrived, but the van was still late. The tour itself was fine. Our tour guide made a few comments that made us feel uncomfortable as two women traveling. We enjoyed the intiñan museum, but our tour guide just dropped us off there and we were toured by someone who works at the museum. We weren’t able to walk to the old mitad del mundo because there was a festival, and that was not mentioned to us when we signed up. Once we got to the historic center, we basically just walked past churches and only entered into one. It felt quite pointless. We did a few free tastings, which we could’ve done without the tour. We didn’t even get taken home in the van - we had to take a taxi, paid for by the company. But it would’ve just been cheaper if we paid for our own transportation. Overall, we could’ve paid way less to do these experiences and had a way more positive experience.
Our guide, Diego, picked us up at our hotel in Puembo for an extra fee. Once we were in the old town area, he parked the car and we started walking. It was interesting being on a private tour with just us two and the guide. He gave us a lot of history as we walked the streets. Diego was good with answering our questions. We went into several churches and he allowed us time to reflect. Part of the tour, we had a Chocolate Tasting Tour, which was fun. In the mean time, he had gone and picked up the car, so we found him and then went to the Teleferico. What a view of the city! It was cold up there, but we had brought our coats. We then went to the Crater Inn and had a late lunch overlooking the crater. Absolutely beautiful and amazing food and service! We then went to the Mitad del Mundo museum. It was very informative and we enjoyed that part of the tour a lot. We did get out passports stamped, too. We were returned to our hotel after a great day. We enjoyed the tour and felt it was very worthwhile and fun.
We had a great day exploring Quito with our guide, Diego. He gave us so much information about Quito and Ecuador throughout the day and navigated us to all of the places with precision including a great place to enjoy lunch. This was a very enjoyable tour.
Diego was amazing. We booked the private tour option and Diego adjusted the schedule based on weather. His english was excellent and easy to understand. He informed us of the history and culture of Quito as we travelled along the entire trip. It was a full day and feel like we got a good taste of what Quito has to offer in the short time we were there.
