Our family of 5 really enjoyed this experience. The highlight was leaving with our very own scent! Our guide, Alexandra, was wonderful! We are so thankful for her expertise and kindness!
This was a nice way to spend a morning. I think I would have enjoyed it more if there were additional oils / notes to choose from for the perfume workshop portion. There were only 3 bottles to use for the creation of the perfume. I enjoyed the discovery of the makers perfume at the end more than I thought I would. In fact, I may go back and purchase a small bottle.
Great experience to have in Paris. Quite educational as well. Walking away with your own little perfume is a nice momento to take with you
Please be on time, very informative event. I actually learned a few tips and understood perfumery a little better although I have a lot of basic knowledge .
The making your own perfume part is about 30min, the rest is the museum tour and sampling the house's scents. The guide was very informative and fun! i gave in and got a 5pack of parfum but it'll be a great memento!
This experience was well worth every penny we paid! I learned so many interesting facts about the production of fragrances!! I had seen a story produced by 60 MINUTES on May 4 about the town Of Grasse in southern France, and its farming of roses and Jasmine whose blossoms are used in the production of perfume. It was a perfect connection to the Fragonard talk and tour!!!
The tour guide was lovely. Knowledgeable, informative, and kind. The tour was short and sweet. The workshop was ok. They choose the scent you will create. Toilette- not parfum. The bottles are flimsy and my fragrance leaked out. Afterwards, the scent exploration in the perfume store was done well and efficiently.
FYI, admission to the museum is free, and there is a purchasing department at the end of the free tour. Learning about the different elements that compose a perfume was interesting, but we didn’t actually get to customize much of the perfume. The class works with a specific perfume in mind already made by the manufacturer. Our guide was sufficiently knowledgeable, but rushed through many of the historical aspects of perfume making, a the tour itself.
a very informative 45min tour & workshop, our guide was excellent. She made sure we felt comfortable & confident to ask questions.
This was a great experience! Great tour with interesting info-and not too long for the kids (tweens--both boys and girls). Our tour guide was very friendly and patient with the kids. Making our own perfume scent was lots of fun! I would definitely recommend this to anyone!
