Definitely worth it

Knowledgeable and charming guide, enjoyable experience. Yes, there is a shop at the end but no particular pressure to buy.

Basic experience of parfume making

A good mix of theory and practice (smelling scents and making your own). However the making of the cologne water is rushed. And at end the visit s about selling fraginard perfumes

Nice - low effort tour

This is a nice experience. The tour is short and comprehensive, leaving one understanding why Grasse is the perfume capital and seeing how this company produces its products. It is capped by a perfume making process. While a nice take home, the scents are chosen for the class - the participants assemble the amounts of each offered ingredient. At the end of the tour, the guide explains all the products available and offered various samples of the finished perfumes. It is a sales pitch however the perfume is quite nice and a very reasonable price.

Nobody speaks Spanish

Having read other opinions I hoped the person in charge of the class could explain some things in Spanish, but it wasn’t and I missed a lot of content. Then we went straight to the store like sheep to the slaughterhouse, but always accompanied by a big smile.

To do

I had the pleasure of visiting the Fragonard factory in Grasse with a group of friends and the experience was really exciting. Our guide, Carina, demonstrated extraordinary competence, explaining every detail with impeccable professionalism and a touch of sympathy that made the visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend anyone passing by Grasse to stop here: it is an experience that really deserves.

Fun

Nice and fun. But the address was unclear. So we went to the museum in the middle of town and then had to take a taxi to the factory.

Musee Du Parfum

Firstly do not book the Fragonard 2 hr perfume making tour as a solo traveller unless you have transport as it is in the industrial estate - i got to Grasse with 1 hour to spare and could not find a taxi to get to the factory. The team at Fragonard were delightful and instantly refunded my money hence me going to the shop in the centre of Grasse which is a wonderful old town full of artisan shops. The 45 min free tour was really insightful and i learnt a lot and of course visited the shop!! If i went again i would book the shorter perfume making experience in the Fragonard Atelier - and avoid the industrial estate. Fully worth a visit - enjoy:)
