Itinerary
At arrival, you will be provided a Traditional Reggiana Breakfast with coffee or cappuccino and croissant or the typical local pie “Erbazzone Reggiano” made of vegetables and Parmigiano. You will also receive a lab coat and a cap for access to the production area.

This experience is not to be missed!!!! Claudio was an amazing tour guide and truest made the experience wonderful. Very knowledgeable tour guide.
Everything was amazing from the initial communication with Claudio months ago to the follow up to the train pick up. The cappuccinos and breakfast snacks allowed the 8 of us travelers to get to know each other a bit before we went to the parmagana Reggiano “factory”. The process was clearly explained and it was obvious how much this all means to Claudio. The place was immaculate and the process so precise. The aging room was probably the highlight, along with the balsamic room at his cousin’s place. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Emilia-Romagna. Oh, almost forgot about the cows. Just so awesome.

The entire experience was one of my favorite tours ever. Seeing the cheese being made and learning about the process was so very interesting. And of course everything tasted great! Going to the farm and seeing the cows that make the milk (and babies) and how they are fed and treated so well was an added bonus!
Claudio was excellent! From the first time I contacted him, he was extremely responsive. He told me in detail how to get to the tour meeting point from Bologna and he was right there to pick us up at the train station. He is passionate about what he does and he’s so enthusiastic about sharing the process of cheese-making from start to finish in a fun and professional manner. The tasting was fantastic - a little breakfast treat to start and finishing off the tour with cheese, salami, balsamic vinegar and wine! What a great day. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful intro duction to Parma, Italy. Amazing flavors and very cool shops with delicious treats! my favorite of the 5 different places had to be the meat shop, gelato shop and .. okay I can not pick a single favorite they were all amazing and our guide Patricia was the best!

Claudio was an amazing teacher. Not only did we see and participate in the production process, we also went to the farm to see the cows. This was a truly special experience. It will be hard to top! Highly recommend!
