Great early morning bike ride! Truly ‘Paris Without People’! Guide Emma was friendly and knowledgeable. Full of Paris fun facts.
Great ! Emma was a fun guide and we had a great group. Nice too get out and bike a bit in Paris on a Sunday before things get crazy..! If you’re a helmet person - bring one! Thank you Emma
Our tour guide was friendly and relatively knowledgeable. We stopped at a less-traveled spot around the Eiffel Tower which allowed us to get some nice photos. During working hours, the streets are packed with traffic. It was very nice to wake up before the hustle and bustle to bike around without having to navigate the traffic. I think the group you're with can impact the experience. I think our group seemed strangely disinterested in some of the stops and, despite everyone's main language being English, seemed not to want to engage much. That's not a diss on the tour itself at all. Over all, it was a great experience where we got to see the big landmarks without the crowds and learn facts we wouldn't have otherwise learned. It was a peaceful morning. I'd definitely recommend!
This is a must do! Emma was great and early morning without any crowds was worth it. I would highly recommend doing this…. Great photos of Eiffel Tower and Louvre without people!
Herbert provided a brilliant experience, he is extremely knowledgeable about all things French and specifically Parisian. His quirky sense of humour makes his commentary and observations highly entertaining as well as informative. Bikes were perfect for the tour, comfortable and easy to handle. Overall organisation and communication around booking and meeting arrangements very good, quick and easy. Capturing the key sites before the crowds was invaluable and set the stage for the itinerary for our Paris experience with tips and recommendations that enhanced our whole experience enormously. My family and I had a great experience and would highly recommend this tour.
Diego was our guide. He was fabulous! We are approaching our 20th visit to Paris and I thought I knew most everything about the great monuments. I was wrong. Diego’s knowledge of the history and details of the many monuments we bicycled to was impressive. Also, being able to see the great Parisian landmarks with virtually nobody else being around was special.
The ride goes rain or shine - in our case - rain! It was just great though. We cycled up towards the Eiffel Tower as it appeared and disappeared into cloud, but when we were at the base out it came and showed itself off! Diego was full of good information-I hadn’t known about the Alexandre the third bridge with the first electric lights in Paris, and the single span, and all the elaborate detail of the decoration. Diego was a really good guide, keeping us all cheerful if not hysterical as we cycled through the pretty steady rain! I’d certainly recommend Paris without people to anyone.
Great tour! Emma was great and very knowledgeable. My sister and I really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this tour to a friend.
Great way to see Paris! We had 4 kids in tow. The youngest two were 9 and 11, but tall for their age. We ended up renting the city bikes for them as the seat goes a little lower than the bikes provided by the guide. He helped us get the city bikes using the app etc - made it great for us. You ride for about 10 minutes at a time, then stop and talk about a landmark, keep going etc. good for all paces of biking. Afterwards the guide treated us to croissants, chocolate croissants and coffee at a nearby restaurant. It was wonderful.
Diego was great. Very accommodating and informative and he proceeded at a reasonable pace for the bike ride. Frequent stops to tell stories about the area.
