Paris Speakeasy: A Night to Meet, Connect & Explore secret Bars

My daughter and I visited Paris for the first time and wanted something fun. We got it!!! Liz, our tour guide was the absolute best! Funny, smart and very knowledgeable! We had the best time. The only problem was getting up the next morning!!! Thanks Liz!!!

A very fun way to discover hidden bars and speakeasies in Paris. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed very much and would recommend!

Due to a technical problem with the trains, our train connection did not come, so we spent 25 euros and took an uber to the meeting place. Fifteen minutes before the tour was scheduled to begin I called the tour provider, but the phone number did not work, so I then messaged them through the Viator app and asked them for the first stop location, so we could meet them there. I then called Viator and they told me to continue on and they would contact me when they reached the tour provider. We then waited at the meeting point for half an hour before we heard from Viator that they were unable to reach the tour provider. I think that is terrible customer service that the phone number doesn’t work and no one responds to messages through the app. We will be fighting Viator for a refund on this tour. What a wasted evening!

We showed up to the meeting spot (after a 45 min Uber fighting through traffic) only to learn the tour was cancelled. I learned because I messaged the operator who broke the news. I did get fully refunded and we were recommended 2 places to visit, so we made the best of the situation!

Our guide Maëva was outstanding! She made it easy for a group of strangers to become fast friends over the course of visiting 3 speakeasies.

Really fun evening learning about the speakeasy culture of Paris! It originated in the city of which I am from - Chicago! But, great selection of cocktails and fun way to meet people while traveling. And found some fun spots that had been passing by on previous visits. Highly recommend. Callie was very gracious and fun.

If you expect to actually go on the tour, do not book this company, they stood us up and did not tell us they weren’t coming until we reached out to see where they were (since we were already at the meeting location). This happened in spite of my reaching out to the tour operator (through Viator) a couple of hours before the tour (I wanted to check to see if we were supposed to meet a few minutes before the tour start time), which went unanswered. When I did finally get an answer telling us that she wasn’t coming, she advised that Viator never notified her of our registration. We registered a couple of weeks in advance AND we received several confirmations from Viator, including one the day of our tour. While we did get a refund, we missed out on the tour and the opportunity to have booked with a different company AND wasted several hours of our vacation waiting around. Bottom line, if you actually want to go on a speakeasy tour, do not book with this company.

Wonderful experience! We had Cali as our guide and she was such a wonderful person. Extremely knowledgeable about speakeasy’s and about mixology. We enjoyed both bars we went to (especially the Mob Bar). Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a nice drink, good company and a fun experience.

This was such a fun, unique way to experience Paris! Maeva was an exceptional tour guide! She made us feel comfortable from the start! She took us to 3 speakeasy’s with different vibes! We felt safe with her the entire time! My daughter and I were looking to experience some Parisian night life and our tour delivered! A big Thank you to Maeva for her expertise and friendship! Highly recommend this tour!

Our guide was what made the tour. We visited a couple of speakeasy which were good. But talking to the guide and learning about Paris and it's lifestyle.
