I had an excellent experience. It was a little confusing managing the passes and and the reservations.
The pass was not worth it. Lines at museums were very long. We chose to use skip-the-line passes for individual museums. Never used the museum pass.
Get the museum passes. Makes hitting even the most popular and crowded ones a relative breeze. Make sure that you pre-reserve time slots for the activities that require or suggest them.
During a visit to Paris with a group of friends, we purchased 7 Paris Museum Passes (online). The cost paid was €132 each. Despite the substantial amount paid, we were happy and satisfied with our purchase, but as soon as we arrived and picked up the pass, we immediately realized we hadn't made a great deal. 1. The cost at the agency was lower. 2. It does not give you the right to skip the line, so you still have to wait in very long lines. In some places, like Sainte Chapelle, we saw people who had bought their tickets on-site pass in front of us. 3. Unfortunately, at the moment you receive the pass and start booking, you realize that there are no available spots at the most popular places (like Versailles). There were availabilities on the days following our return. 4. You can offset the amount paid from the 5th or 6th visit, but I repeat, it is not possible because you often cannot find availability! If I can give you a piece of advice, forget it.
Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and please accept our sincere apologies for the disappointment you experienced during your visit to Paris. We genuinely regret that your group did not have the smooth experience we work hard to provide. We are sorry to see that the recommendations included in our ad and in your booking confirmation were not read before your trip, as they were written precisely to help travelers avoid the difficulties you described. We will certainly look into how we can make these directions clearer going forward. For your information, and for any future travelers reading this, we would like to clarify a few important points: Only 4 museums require a reserved time slot: the Louvre, the Palace of Versailles, the Sainte-Chapelle and the Musée de l'Orangerie. These are among the most popular and in-demand sites in Paris, which is exactly why we strongly invite our customers to make these reservations as early as possible. Availability for places like Versailles fills up very quickly, regardless of which provider you book through. Regarding the Sainte-Chapelle specifically: there are two separate lines at the entrance — one for visitors who have booked a time slot, which moves much faster, and one for those without a time slot, which is typically very long. This is precisely why booking a slot in advance is so important, and likely explains why you saw other visitors going ahead. Importantly, reserving these free time slots does not require the Pass at all — the slots themselves are free to book. Beyond these few sites, the Pass offers skip-the-line access to all the other museums and monuments it covers, which is where the real time savings and value lie. We also want to highlight that we proactively offer to make these reservations on your behalf. We send a reminder by email and WhatsApp 24 hours in advance, and we remain available to assist you with the booking process at any time. Finally, the Pass is a premium product backed by a dedicated team whose role is to support you — both in securing your time slots and throughout your visits, even to give tips and other good plans. We sincerely wish you had reached out to us when you encountered these difficulties, as our team would have done everything possible to find a solution for you. We remain at your full disposal, and we would warmly encourage you to contact us at the slightest difficulty on any future visit, so that we can ensure you get the most out of your experience. Kind regards, The Team
It was a scam. Only buy directly through the museum. My "pass did not activate until end of day 3. Thus we could only use it for one day.
This helped me not waste time standing in line to see the various museums. There was one day of my vacation where there was torrential rain and I had booked in advance the time for the Saint Chapelle and I skipped the line.
Great experience, recognized everywhere we went. Make reservations in addition to using the pass, so you don't have to stand in the long lines.
Very easy to use with lots of choices. A good value if you want to see a lot of Paris museums or gallaries
Incredibly useful - was able to experience a lot of museums - seamlessly and with time to spare . Grateful for the range and ease this pass facilitates 💫
Much of the experience of Paris are it's beautiful art and the museums. To make it easier, you absolutely should use the Paris Pass. So much is included! Totally worth it.
