Description

It all starts with a warm cup of tea or coffee before jumping right into the crafting of your own Buttery Croissant, Pain au Chocolat (or chocolate croissant) and the Pain au Raisin ! Small groups of 8 allow the chef to follow closely how you learn new skills and knowledge. First, discover the equipment, the ingredients, and the theory behind the making of the croissant. You will be making it from scratch with quality ingredients we selected from our local producers. Then kneading the predough is where it all begins. You will provide the last ingredient with the rolling pin as you roll out the finished dough from which you will shape your own pastries! Time will do the rest while they rest and bake. It all ends well with the tasting of what you have baked and the always instructive chat about your trip to Paris. We, as chefs, are very happy to give you our culinary advice, recommendations, and opinions and also learn from you. Don’t forget to take away the leftovers!

An absolute must in Paris

An absolute must with the family when visiting Paris. We took our 10 year-old twin girls and they had a blast. A very fun and informative class which was easy and laid-back. Location is great. The instructor was phenomenal. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone with a family or even a couple. If you do an early morning class, make sure to have some coffee or light breakfast as you will not be done until about noon.

We had issues with...

We had issues with getting to our location for our scheduled time slot. Our Uber had trouble finding us...tried 4 different ones before we finally went to a hotel and obtained a taxi. I communicated this to the customer support. Told them we would be at least 20 min late. When we arrived, they wouldn't let us in. The support team didn't communicate our whereabouts with the on-site instructor. Thankfully they rescheduled us for later in the day but it could have saved us the time and cost of a taxi. The class and instructor was great. We had a lot of fun and the croissants were delicious. We did this with our 7 year old and she absolutely loved it.

Viator sent us to the wrong location and class

Others should know that I signed up for a croissant class and when I got to the location you provided I was told I was at the wrong location. The kind young chef had room in his macaron class so we did that instead. Not at all the experience we were hoping for or expecting. Viator still asks for a review of the croissant class we took.

Cooking day!

Red door on the street, so it’s easy to find. Very nice, very informed and able to answer questions well. Clean place nice restrooms. Process was explained and demonstrated well. Excellent hands on approach with good coaching by the baker, Lindsey. Brought home the goods we made and they were excellent. Couples, kids and long, term bakers in the mix. Worth trying out!

Great experience for a solo woman traveler

Absolutely fantastic experience. Not only did we get to make two different types of croissants, but we got recipes delivered via email and great tips on restaurants and shopping! Loved every moment
