Paris Create your Own Perfume Workshop with a Perfumer

Fun experience with our family, including 10-year-old twin girls. The location is a little awkward as it’s tucked away in a private apartment. You get to practice with making a few different styles of perfume and then pick one to take home with you. Instructor is knowledgeable. If you have some extra time to kill in, Paris could be worth it however, if you’re pressed for time I would skip it.

The perfumer gave us just enough background to get us started creating our signature scents. She worked with each one of us to refine our creations and hone in on the scent profile. While I don’t like the taste of bergamot, I do like it in a perfume. She helped me realize that taste and scent can be vastly different. I left with 2 vastly different perfumes and couldn’t be happier. Please consider adding this adventure to your Paris stay. It is well worth your investment of time and money

Our family had an amazing experience with this perfume-making workshop, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, Marina made us feel welcome with her warm personality and genuine enthusiasm. Marina is incredibly knowledgeable about fragrances and did an excellent job explaining the different scent families, notes, and how they work together. She took the time to understand each person’s preferences instead of rushing us through the process. Her guidance helped every member of our family discover combinations we truly loved while still encouraging us to be creative and make something uniquely our own. What really stood out was how attentive and patient she was throughout the experience. She answered every question thoughtfully, offered personalized recommendations, and made sure everyone felt included and comfortable. Even those of us with no prior knowledge of perfumes felt confident creating a custom fragrance by the end. The workshop was well organized, relaxed, and interactive. We never felt hurried, and it was clear that Marina genuinely wanted each guest to leave with a scent they would enjoy wearing long after the trip. If you’re looking for a memorable, hands-on experience that’s different from the typical sightseeing activities, we highly recommend this workshop. Creating a fragrance that is uniquely yours is such a special souvenir to bring home, and Marina’s expertise and passion made the experience exceptional. We would absolutely do this again and recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!

What a lovely experience. The perfumer was so nice, and spent time perfecting the perfect perfumes/colognes. Everyone enjoyed it!

This was the perfect Paris experience and we loved every minute. It takes place in a beautiful home that is located in the middle of a business district. The perfumer who teaches the class is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience in the industry. She gave us the basics to make our own scent, and later guided us in the right direction after our first attempt smelled more like bug spray than perfume. (It was hysterical). Thanks to her guidance, we all left with a beautiful bottle filled with our personally made scents. This was our favorite Paris experience and something we will never forget. Additionally, we asked to change our workshop time from morning to afternoon the day before the workshop. They responded quickly to let us know it was ok to do so. That’s something to keep in mind. The traffic in Paris is crazy, so give yourself lots of extra time to get anywhere.,

I reached out to the organizers beforehand and didn’t get a response, but the class itself was absolutely wonderful. It was fun, hands‑on, and educational. Such a unique experience! You get to experiment with three different scent blends before choosing your final perfume to take home, which makes for a truly special souvenir and memory from France. The instructor moves around helping everyone, and while we were ready to finalize our scents a bit sooner, it was still a delightful and engaging experience from start to finish.

i had done perfume making before but NOTHING like this. Marina is so knowledgeable, professionsl, helpful, kind. The entire family loved this. we each left with a 50ml bottle. we had 3 samples we started with so we could perfect our scent. we wanted to get a second bottle, but needed to pay cash. so bring cash with you. this is done in her/an apartment which i didn't know when i initially booked, but it provided for such a serene and perfect setting.
