Come hungry!

We had a wonderful food tour with Kelly but it was so much more than that. We had the opportunity to experience multiple cultures with our group. We had more than enough yummy food for each person. We stopped into the beautiful marketplace where we saw handmade items for sale as well as flowers, food and a farmers market. It was a perfect half day. Thanks Kelly!

Food, glorious food ... a fun morning with a great guide!

We really enjoyed this experience. Our guide was excellent ... helpful and knowledgeable. Tastings were numerous, including breakfast, lunch, dessert, and alcohol tasting. We couldn't eat all the food. It was also great to sample traditional local produce. The tour of the market was also interesting and included advice on purchasing various items. Highly recommend this tour.

Best Food Tour Ever

One of the best food tours ever! Kai’eli was diverse and very knowledgeable. He speaks French and English made it very nice. Lots of walking so I got my steps in! Started with Tahitian coffee and coconut milt and Tahitian bread. Then breakfast was Tahitian Poisson Cru which was absolutely fabulous. Went to market after that and was given tours on flower row, woven bags and again more food with fried noodles in bread like a sub sandwich. Next was a choice of dessert or again an array of food to choose from. The other side of market was fresh fruits and vegetables. And again more food to taste and a homemade juice to drink. We than went to Vini Vini and had a sandwich that was so good! Our next stop was a wine boutique where we could purchase something if we wanted. It ended with another dessert and the market if we wanted to purchase items. Kai'eli showed us where an ATM was as the market only takes cash or Francs. Really reasonable prices. I never have eaten so much in my life. So much food great people I got to eat with and learn different cultures. I would do this again with no questions asked.

Delicious Introduction to Papeete with Kalei

The Papeete Food & City Tour was an excellent way to experience the flavors and atmosphere of Tahiti’s capital. Kalei was a fantastic guide — friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and certainly handsome as well! He created a relaxed and enjoyable experience while sharing insights into local culture, history, and everyday life in Papeete. The food stops were outstanding and wonderfully diverse, giving us the chance to sample a wide variety of delicious local specialties and flavors we likely would not have discovered on our own. The pacing of the tour was excellent, and we appreciated how the experience combined food, sightseeing, and conversation so naturally. A very enjoyable and worthwhile tour that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tahiti.

Delicious food, great host, perfect introduction to Pape’ete

We had a great time on this tour. It was a perfect half day’s activity. Our guide was already waiting to us at the town hall and we set off bang on time. It just a small group - just us and another couple. He was super friendly, knowledgeable about the food, places we went, but also Pape’ete and French Polynesia in general. Without giving it away: we visited two sit down restaurants, a bunch of stands, and a liquor store for a tasting. Great tasting food, good variety, and with enough time in between for digesting and photos! They’re not joking around with their advice, definitely don’t eat much before you head off… you’ll leave the tour full, having had breakfast and lunch by the time you finish up. Absolutely worth the price! 10/10 fully recommend.
