Palma Old Town & The Cathedral of Mallorca with Mallorcan pastry

Description
Our local and official guide will take you on a journey through the city's history, evolution, curiosities, and secrets. We also enter the cathedral skipping the line, and at the end of the tour, we will taste a Mallorcan pastry. You will contemplate the three major monumental interventions that have taken place in the cathedral: The reconstruction of the Major Portal of the Cathedral of Mallorca at the end of the 19th century; the great reform of Antoni Gaudí between 1904 and 1914 by order of Bishop Joan Pere Campins and the intervention of contemporary art by Miquel Barceló (2007) in the old Sant Pere chapel. We will walk for about 2,5 hours. Ask me everything you need to know and let yourself be surprised!

If you're visiting Mallorca, the cathedral tour in Palma is an absolute must. The cathedral is one of the most beautiful places we visited during our trip. The architecture is stunning, both inside and out, and the history behind it is fascinating. After the tour, we spent time exploring the town, which has plenty to offer. There are lots of shops, a market, and some lovely places to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. The whole area is beautiful and well worth spending a day in. We had an amazing day and would highly recommend visiting Palma Cathedral to anyone staying in Mallorca. It was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday!
Would thoroughly recommend the free tour. Lasted two hours and saw things we never would have known to look out for. Guide was excellent. Only down side for me was getting my purse stolen out of my backpack outside the cathedral. Done in seconds and never saw or heard a thing, neither did the person next to me !
Eulalia was our tour guide and she was excellent! She was informative, engaging, and helpful with recommendations. You can tell she loves her island. We enjoyed it.
Great tour with interesting facts about the city. Eulàlia was very friendly and always made sure we had shade to stand in when telling us about the area. Only 11 of us in the group so everyone could hear Eulalia and ask questions along the way.
Perfect, nice, informative and educational. Fantastic friendly and knowledgeable guide.
Carlos was a wonderful guide. Full of knowledge, very informative with a great personality. I would highly recommend this tour.
Tres bien. bien deservie en bus
This was a 5 star tour hosted by Eulàlia who was so informative. It was a very personalised tour, relaxed, and we learned so much about the history of Palma, the Old Town and fhe Cathedral.
Thank you so much for this lovely comment. It’s always a pleasure to walk around the city of Palma and discover its stories and secrets. Eulàlia, our guide and historian, always does her very best to help people fall in love with Palma just as she has. Thank you very much again!
Our guide was an actual historian with amazing knowledge of the local area and history of the cathedral. Euliala didn’t rush us though and we had a perfect small group. She took time to make sure we had shade and time to sit if needed and she engaged us by asking what we thought of the art pieces and different architecture eras. We had a wonderful wonderful time.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. Our guide, Eulàlia, always tries to bring Palma’s history, secrets and interesting facts to life by encouraging people to ask questions on all sorts of topics, making for a more interactive tour. We’re so glad you enjoyed the experience! Thank you very much again!
First time visiting the Cathedral and Palma old Town. The cathedral was worth spending 25€ entrance fee for th cathedral with the rooftop views and the museum and the crosswalk. Be prepared to climb the approximate 150 steps up the stairs to be on the rooftop but you won’t regret it, especially if the weather is sunny!
