- Please present voucher to the ticket office. Tickets will be timed for the next available tram car as a first come first serve basis.
- The Tramway is subject to delays and periodic shutdowns due to unforeseen circumstances and is not responsible for ticket refunds or the inability to redeem a voucher
- Tramway cars hold 80 people each and there are no seats. Passengers remain standing throughout the journey up the mountain
- Distance is approximately 12,800 feet, with a vertical ascent of 5,873 feet - 15 minutes travel time one way
- The tramway is known as a double reversible type of aerial tramway. Each car remains on one pair of track cables moving up and down without turning around. Each car serves as a counter balance to the other, the descending car is helping pull the ascending car up the mountain
- Strollers are permitted on this tour
- During holiday periods, you may experience long lines. We recommend you travel outside of these peak times to fully enjoy everything the tramway and mountain have to offer.
- There is parking in 13 paved lots near Valley Station. There is free shuttle service from parking lots to Valley Station entrance available weekends and holiday periods

We got a ticket that included supper up at the lodge at 8,600'. Great ride up, the operator made people who were nervous feel more at ease with some good MJ music. There were six of us and we loved the ribs at the cafeteria up top. My wife and I did a short hike down into the pine forest to see some native birds like Stellar Jays. This was a nice stop on our Joshua Tree NP trip. We loved the rotating car with views all around.
Truly an amazing experience with an a beautiful view! I loved it and will definitely do it again. My partner and I had the best of times.
Truly a fantastic view of the entire area. Highly recommend you make this a part of your visit to Palm Springs. Unfortunately, we didn't give ourselves enough time, but there are plenty of walking trails at the summit. This will be during our next trip.
It’s a wonderful, naturally beautiful experience. I learned things I never knew about California and its wildlife. Would love to comeback and go camping one day

Is something you really have to try at least once the view is phenomenal and all around best time ever !
A Day well spent and worth the $$, although Senior tickets can be bought at The Window inside the building for a few $$'s less. Just a great way to do a wonderful adventure and day hike if you wish, which is a big part of the experience
A lot of fun! Pretty amazing views and excellent hiking trails at the top of the mountain. Restaurant was great!
The total experience of the tram ride, the view from the top, and the day was more than I expected. All the employees were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant's food was really good, and the service was just what a diner expects.
This was so fun! The History of the Tram is so fascinating ! Finer dining at the top was really great too !! Highly recommend this adventure !!
