Llamas are raised and the local communities are intact. It is a jewel of the Andes made up of three colorful mountains accompanied by a spectacular view of the snowy Ausangate.

Itinerary
We will pick you up in our touristic transport from your hotel in Cusco at 4:00 am. Then we will take you through the South Valley of Cusco to Cusipata where we'll have breakfast. The trip takes about 1:30 hours.
after breakfast we continue our journey to Checacupe when you get to Checacupe you can buy some snacks and use the hygienic services. Checacupe is a colonial town and home to an ancient bridge very similar to the last Inca bridge, Qeswachaca. Then continue the trip by car to the car park. Where you will walk for about an hour to the mountain of colors Palccoyo.
Upon reaching the top of the mountain you will be able to see the wonderful nature that surrounds you and the natural colors resulting from a mineralization process that these lands suffered for millions of years. Our guide will give you the necessary information about this attraction. Then you can tour the place and take the photos you want.
You will return to the car park where our transport will be waiting for you to take you to Checacupe where you will enjoy a delicious typical lunch of the area.
After lunch our transport will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco. We will arrive around 17:00 p.m.

Pickup for the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain Tour begins approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time (around 4:00 a.m.) from Cusco. Travelers are kindly asked to be ready and waiting in the lobby of their hotel or accommodation at that time. Our guide will contact you by phone to coordinate the pickup and ensure there are no issues. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the Palcoyo mountain. Cesar was an excellent and safe driver, always attentive throughout the journey. Marco was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely attentive to everyone’s needs and well-being, which was especially important while reaching 5,000 metres of altitude. He also speaks very good English, as well as Spanish, and made the whole experience even more interesting and enjoyable. Our expectations were already high, but the experience went well beyond them. Highly recommended!
Very well-organized tour. We were at Palccoyo Mountain very early in the morning, so we were almost the only ones there at first. The view of the mountain landscape is unique and overwhelming. Our guide Andre took great care of us, adjusted to our pace, and took as many photos of us as we wanted. The bus driver, John, drove us quickly but safely. Breakfast and lunch were at the same location in Cusipata with a very varied and rich selection at the buffet. Thank you for the great day.
Magnificent day. The guide was excellent. You still need to be able to walk at high altitude in order to really be able to admire the 7 colors. The walk is manageable because there are climbs, small downhill slopes, and flat sections.
We booked a private tour with them, and it was an excellent experience. They arranged a comfortable vehicle and provided an English-speaking guide, Ricardo, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip. We truly enjoyed the experience. The tour included everything we needed, including breakfast and lunch, and the team was very organized and accommodating. Their professionalism and hospitality made the day even more enjoyable. Perfect, perfect, perfect!! The guide was highly professional: he checked all the health conditions of the participants and inquired about our acclimatization to the altitude (arrival dates and altitudes experienced). He respected everyone's level and provided us with excellent advice.

We were at a slightly hidden address and transport knew we were there at the announced time. Our guide Lucas has been attentive to our needs and pace. Very interesting in his explanations and he had visual supports, objects to show and ... Peruvian toques to take us picture 🥰 What to say about our experienced driver on winding and curved roads. We surrendered safely. Simple little downside, the lunch included was cold is did not seem so fresh. However the dinner was very decent. Thank you very much for this great experience!
A fantastic day! This tour definitely felt like the most organized, most well thought out and executed of all the ones I've been on in Cusco. Good bus, punctual pickup, good guide. The restaurants were significantly better than most and had good food. There were so many people there, they didn't really have time to handle the drink orders for everyone who came in. The visit to the mountain itself was fantastic! It went at a slow pace, and without stress. But I still want to warn people about the altitude! Read about altitude sickness beforehand, listen to your body and the guide. It's really dangerous when you end up at these heights.

It is a long day but so worth it. Our guide was great. Breakfast was minimum fine and lunch was very good. Beautiful location for a hike/walk
