Wow. What an amazing experience!! Carlo was my guide and driver and he was super cool, personable, funny, knowledgeable, and nice. He made sure I was well taken care of, the car was comfortable, and overall it was an amazing time. This is a must do experience when visiting Manila. The falls are absolutely beautiful and the canoeing experience to get there is unique and wild. So much fun. And then the hot springs after is the perfect way to unwind after a day at the falls and is a close drive from the falls. Bring a change of clothes, some water and snacks. Bring sunblock and a towel. You can leave your stuff in the car or in a locker once u get to the location. Bring cash for the falls as you can buy drinks and food on the way up. Carlo is a great driver and a good person. The hot springs are a site to see and very relaxing and one of a kind.

The canoe ride to Pagsanjan Falls was both thrilling and scenic, surrounded by lush jungle, and the waterfall itself was truly breathtaking. Hidden Valley Springs was the perfect place to relax afterward, with peaceful hot springs set in the middle of a tropical rainforest. I sent this to YOLO email I never thought I’d ever book a private tour and when I did I never thought I’d really be the only person on the tour. In my experience booking a small group private tour meant myself and a handful of others would be on the tour but alas the tour was just me booked in viator but hosted by Carlo from yolo. This tour was for sure a splurge for me but “when in rome”… I just couldn’t find a join in tour and after my 17 hours flight from NYC I wanted to get out of Manila proper and explore the country side and that I did with an amazing and very well worth it guide named Carlo! We had an amazing trip with our guide John and driver Kyle. They had us try some local delicacies, which was cool. The waterfall and the hidden valley springs were SO much better than expected and very beautiful. The sailing route to the waterfall made us feel alive😆 that was a bit crazy, but the guides were very good at controlling the boat. And it was also very funny if you like a bit of adrenaline. We would highly recommend this trip

Even though weather did not permit us to go all the way to the end, our guides help to make this a very memorable and amazing experience!!! I highly recommend signing up for it!

I was a solo traveller on this trip. The whole trip was very well organised right from the start. I loved the falls and the exotic pools in hidden valley. The tour guide Criz made sure that I was comfortable throughout the journey. The trip ended with a lunch at Hidden Valley. The dishes werr made to my preferences and very yummy indeed. I especially enjoyed the spring rolls.

-Pagsanjan Falls is a nice waterfall with good challengers to get down to many stairs and climbing 👍🏻 -Hidden Valley is very beautiful area with many beautiful flowers and trees fine pool and fight good food - The driver who drove me shouldn't keep the driver's license.

We had such a great tour with Andrei! The boat ride to the Falls was definitely the highlight of the day! First you will drive ~2 hours to get to the jump point for the Falls. On the way, Andrei was kind enough to stop at a roadside bibingka stall in Pila to let us watch it being made and try this delicious Filipino treat! Once you get to the jump point for the Falls, you are led to a long wooden boat that holds ~2 people. It’s about a 2 hour journey to the Falls, navigating multiple rapids, with a rest break half way (only going to) where you can purchase (with cash) snacks and drinks. We were asked if we also wanted to purchase food and drinks for our boatmen and we kindly obliged. It was a very reasonable price. Once you get near the falls, you will transfer to a large bamboo raft that holds ~8-10 people and 2 different boatmen pull the raft along a rope to take your under and behind the Falls to a cave where you can swim briefly. These boatmen were a bit pushy about tips. However, our main 2 boatmen never asked. We did feel it appropriate to tip all of them because the work was so strenuous navigating the boat through rocks and narrow paths by hand/foot. Overall it was exhilarating at the Falls, but also a peaceful and beautiful journey on the way to/from. At Hidden Valley Springs, you get to eat a wonderful buffet of Filipino food and enjoy relaxing pools. This was a welcome respite after our Falls adventure. (It was about an hour between the two and then, due to traffic, another 2 hours back to Manila.) Andrei was fantastic! He was very accommodating and shared many things on the way about the varying cities and Filipino cuisine and culture. I recommend wearing a swim-suit, with clothes over it, and water shoes. You will get soaked. You can change into dry clothes after you finish at Hidden Valley Springs. I also recommend a waterproof phone pouch so you can take pictures/video along the way. The boatmen are also willing to take pictures for you! Andrei was also great about telling us what to bring and taking pictures as well. 10/10 think this trip was worth the price, especially because we were the only 2 on the tour and Andrei was so kind as to make it very tailored to us!
