Angela was an amazing Scholar and Educator!!!!! My Husband and I had a Wonderful visit to PAESTUM, Italy!!!
Thank you so much!
Ângelo was a great guide. Our group included two adolescents and 4 young adults. Angelo did a great job keeping them engaged while at the same time keeping the adults interested. I thank Angelo very much for his great work, it made out trip. 👍
Thanks a lot for your feedback!
Our guide Nicola Masaniello accompanied us with great competence, professionalism and sympathy to discover this wonderful site. Highly recommended
Grazie mille!!!
Our private guide, Lucia. She was so passionate in her work. She loved being there as much as we did. Very Informative and knowledgeable. Had a great 2 hour tour. Great value. Highly recommend.
Thank you very much for these words!
After I changed time of meeting on Viator website and got confirmation by email, the change never reached the office. They still had old time and scheduled the guide for original time. Nobody met us and after loosing 30 min on the phone with them, we hired a local guide and proceeded with the trip. They deny clumsy handling and I tend to keep the cost of the tour fir 4 people, claiming they “investigated” the issue but they never provided the proof of their findings. Takeaway: don’t trust the website and call the office for changes, always! We’ll continue the dispute through credit card company. Viator should do better!
Our guide was spectacular! A very prepared and friendly archaeologist made us relive the moments of the past with mastery and professionalism. I highly recommend this company!

Had a great time with Roberto exploring the ancient Greek city of Paestum; an expert on the topic adds so much to experience!
We are pleased that you had an interesting experience with Roberto. Thanks for your review
The Paestum outdoor exhibit is fabulous. Three Greek temples with excellent information about the theories of how the temples were built, origin of the materials, and mythology. The unearthed Roman gladiator stadium was also interesting. Unfortunately Viator and local guide did not communicate well: 1) museum personnel and ticket office did not know that there was to be a Viator tour. 2) The tour guide thought we were to meet at the mueum whereas Viator told me to meet at the ticket office and the guide accused us of being in the wrong place. Unfortunate.
We have visited both the archaeological site before, with its times in perfect condition and the various excavations recently carried out and then the museum and I must say very well maintained and cared for with the various explanations about , I highly recommend visiting both.
An immersion in Greek history, a blast from the past of 2500 years. With Apps to download for free you can have information on all points in the area: the Temples, houses, swimming pool etc., enough to allow you to imagine life so many centuries ago. The ticket costs € 6,00 and also allows you to visit the Museum of Paestum and the archaeological site of Velia (within 3 days). To be recommended absolutely.
