Paella Cooking Class, Wine Tasting & Central Market in Valencia

Description
Valencia is the birthplace of the world-famous paella - from the market to your plate, learn step-by-step how to make this traditional dish! First, your local guide will take you to visit Mercado Central de Valencia - Europe's largest food market. Here, you'll buy your fresh ingredients. For evening tours and tours on Sunday, the Central Market is closed so we will skip this step and go straight to the cooking! You’ll then go to the paella kitchen for a live paella workshop with a professional chef. Follow along step-by-step at your own cooking station and learn the local tips and tricks of what makes this dish so special. After the class, sit back and enjoy some local tapas, wine and, of course, your very own paella. Your paella cooking class Valencia finishes with a sweet treat before returning to the meeting point accompanied by the guide.

Loved this paella class in Valencia! My wife and I had made paella before, but we still learned so much. Wonderful teacher, perfect pace, and such a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend, especially for first-timers, but even experienced cooks will pick up great tips. We’d do it again in a heartbeat!
Victor was the best - great st experience of our trip this far. So fun!!!
Wow! What an experience. A must for anyone visiting Valencia who would like to do something a bit different. Our host chef victor was amazing, we didn’t quite know what to expect from the group experience but he bought us all together (Brits, Americans and polish), wine was flowing courtesy of Dintje and we all had an amazing time cooking and eating together.
Daniel and (?Cian) were amazing. Daniel explained everything about paella including the love his grandmother had making it and passing it on to her family. We didn’t get a chance to visit the market to pick out our food since it was closed. I would recommend picking a time slot where it’s open to get the full experience. Highly recommend attending this class.
If you’re visiting Valencia, do yourself a favor and book this paella cooking class! It ended up being one of the absolute highlights of my trip. Reyes and Cornac were phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. Their warmth, humor and positive energy created such a relaxed atmosphere that the flew by. Reyes is incredibly knowledgeable about the authentic Valencia paella traditions, history, and little details that make the dish so special. The class was hands-on, engaging and filled with laughter. The vibe was simply amazing ending with gathering around the table, enjoying a meal together. I’ll cherish the memories forever.
It was an amazing experience, Daniel and Cormac were so accommodating. You get so much for your money with all the food and alcohol consumed. This is a must do if visiting Valencia!
Victor and Cian were great guides. Really fun evening. I highly recommend!
The most incredible experience. I was solo and really enjoyed my time with Reyes and Luna. Reyes was so knowledgeable and friendly, and Luna had the best drinks recommendations!! The food at the end was fantastic and I had enough to take back to my hostel and share with new friends. Could not recommend enough!
We had a great time cooking with Victor and our paella turned out amazing! Great wine pairings, as well. Highly recommend to anyone who loves paella or wants an authentic experience.
Amazing experience and a must do activity while in Valencia. Reyes and Luna were amazing guides and hosts. They made the tour entertaining, informative and lots of fun. The beginning of the tour with a visit to the central market was filled with history and culture and the rest was filled with cooking and eating and infused with a real passion for paella. We left the tour with a greater appreciation for paella and this beautiful city.
