You will discover more with the live bilingual commentary and the free audio guide application. Come to 2 Rideau Street for your tickets, just across the street from Parliament Hill. The schedule is mid-May to mid-October, 6 departures per day, 7 days a week.

The cruises will let you discover the wonderful Rideau Canal, from Dow's Lake to the Ottawa River. Be surprised by the richness and the historical landmarks that will be offered on the cruise! During your cruise you will discover the heritage of the city of Ottawa in a very different way! From the Chateau Laurier to Dow's Lake, you will have the chance to learn about thirty different sites that have marked the history of the city. In addition, several miscellaneous fun and often surprising facts will be presented! You will also have the chance to learn about the following historical sites: University of Ottawa campus, German Embassy, Armenian Embassy, Trans-Canada Highway, Pretoria Bridge, Canadian Museum of Nature, St. Patrick Statue, Canal Ritz, Lansdowne Park, TD Place Stadium, TD Place Arena, Bank Street Bridge, Dow’s Lake, Commissioners Park, Dominion Arboretum, and many more.

This was an excellent 1.5 hour cruise showing us some of the important parts of Ottawa. The guide was highly entertaining but he also knew his stuff. Thoroughly recommended.
This tour is a wonderful way to view Ottawa. The electric boat cruise coasts through beautiful parks and gardens, historic buildings and the University of Ottawa campus along the banks of the canal. Our tour guide Cam did a wonderful narration in both English and French of the sites we passed and injected humor with each description. Our bartender Jo Jo staffed the bar and was very accommodating. Our captain Jacob provided a very smooth ride along the canal. Also a shout out to the ticket coordinator in charge of boarding. We did not get her name to acknowledge her assistance with boarding as I was on crutches. I highly recommend this water attraction if you are planning to visit Ottawa. My only suggestion is better signage for parking and handicap access to the boarding area.
Guides were very knowledgeable about the Rideau Canal and surrounding area. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone thinking about it.

Cam was our tour guide. Truly an exceptional young man knowledgeable beyond his years. He was personable, funny, and charming. Answering all the guests questions expertly and with ease, truly a delight to meet such a polite young man a credit to the tourism community. All guest were welcomed and included in the tour we were like one big happy family. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
