Osum Canyon & Bogove Waterfall: Classic Tour or River Tubing
Description
Explore two of Albania's top natural attractions on a guided day trip from Berat. Travel through the scenic Skrapar region and stop in Poliçan, a town built during the communist era for weapons production, before reaching Bogove Waterfall. Enjoy free time to relax, take photos, or swim in the crystal-clear water. Continue to Osum Canyon and stop at panoramic viewpoints to admire the dramatic cliffs while your guide shares local history and legends. Choose the experience that suits you best. The Classic Tour includes a seasonal walk inside the canyon and swimming when water levels allow. The Seasonal River Tubing Tour lets you float through the canyon on an inflatable tube with a professional guide and all necessary safety equipment. Both options include the visit to Bogove Waterfall. A meeting point option is available for guests who prefer to join the river tubing experience directly at Osum Canyon without transportation or the waterfall visit.

Meet in the morning at our office and drive in the Canyon Direction. Make a stop in Polican, a small town founded during communist times to produce weapons. See the factories from a distance and learn more about their history.

During the summer, we will embark on an exploration of the second part of the canyon. Accompanied by our guide, we will venture into the depths of the canyon, combining swimming and hiking along its pristine paths. This expedition will take approximately 3 hours round trip. In the autumn, spring, and winter seasons, we will opt for hiking above the canyon, where we can delight in panoramic views of its stunning landscapes.
Take a hike to Bogove Waterfall - the journey to the waterfall goes across the forest of Bogove Park. The stream coming down and the trees make the hike pleasant. Once we arrive at the waterfall, we will have a stop there and for those who dare - to jump and swim in the cold waters of the waterfall.

We booked the tubing only, fantastic time and the guides were helpful and experienced at ensuring everyone was safe and had fun taking photos and sharing these after, lunch was included which we were not aware of when booking

Very welcoming and friendly. They wrote to us the day before the excursion to give us more precise instructions. During the bus ride, they told us about the history of the city of Berat, the history of Albania from the communist era to today, and other interesting facts. My partner and I took the classic tour, so after the cold and refreshing waterfall, we swam through the canyon guided by Olsi, taking several breaks between one stretch and the next. They provided us with the appropriate shoes to enter the river, and we had lunch at the end of the tour. Pleasant and refreshing day. Recommended experience

The Canyon is simply SPECTACULAR, not to be missed. Conversely, the Bogova waterfall is disappointing. Not bad lunch. The guide, Soni, is very good... a true professional! Do NOT MISS!

Soni is a great guide. He is humanly authentic and tells his own story, which of course is the story of the country. He also gives many great tips and funny advice. The tour in general is very round, everything fits, nothing is too long or too short. Lunch was also very delicious. A highlight was the bar in the Usumi Canyon beautifully located and a funny story that there are bars everywhere, really everywhere in Albania. All in all, Soni conveys the love of the country very well. I can only recommend this tour to anyone.
