Orange Bay Giftun Island Snorkeling Cruise With Lunch – Hurghada

Our family had an excellent trip to Orange Island and 2 snorkeling stops today. It was a surprise because we were supposed to be on the Dolphin House excursion but there was some sort of mix-up and we didn't realize until the boat had pulled out of the marina. However, as soon as I notified the trip coordinator at Red Dragon Tours, they apologized and immediately made it up to us by offering us a free excursion to Dolphin House at our earliest convenience. We are very impressed with the service! We had a lovely time swimming in the pristine waters at Orange Island and relaxing in the shade overlooking the sea. Back on the boat, lunch was hot, delicious, and satisfying with meat, rice, pasta, potatoes, and fresh salads. Our 2 snorkeling stops were amazing. It was our children's first time snorkeling and it was magical for all of us. We saw so many different kinds of colorful fish and coral. Our guide was fun, informative, kept careful track of the group and was attentive to anything we needed. We would definitely recommend booking your excursion with Red Dragon Tours.

Even the pickup worked perfectly! The waiting time on the boat before it sailed was really long. It is a good idea to have breakfast before the trip, as the breakfast you get is finger food (we Danes always get a solid meal in the morning 😉) Remember towel for snorkeling trips and money to buy drinks on the island of OrangeBay, otherwise it will be 2 long hours. They don't take cards on the island, just cash. The staff on the boat did everything they could to make the trip nice and were very nice. However, one of them was pretty close to the girls. There was a nice review of snorkeling equipment and the journey in the water, however, most equipment was not quite fine, if it made it a little tricky to snorkel properly. Thinking it would be nicer to bring your own dive mask. The snorkeling trips were somewhat chaotic, as there are really many people who have to go into the water at once and many who would like to look at the same place at once. Don’t expect to be able to look at corals and fish. However, we saw a lot of beautiful fish and a beautiful world underwater! We were also not insecure in the water as the staff were very professional and good at keeping an eye on everyone was involved. The breakfast on board was really nice! There was access to drinks all the time. Orange Bay was incredibly beautiful too! But remember as I said money and not cards. If the trip is to have 5 stars I think that you need to be better informed about the trip before. For example, Ift money, towels and being with 25 others.

Everything on the boat was great! Snorkeling and just swimming included. The island is quite crowded, but no one can help that.
