Do not book this tour operator. We booked weeks in advance and sent the relevant documentation to the tour operator. We were picked up on time by a very sweet taxi driver, driven to airport where we expected to have 1 hour in the Maharaba lounge for breakfast as advertised in what’s included in price, on arrival we were told it wasn’t possible as it’s not included in price. We then went to check in and were told that only 2 seats had been booked on flights and not the 3 I had booked and paid for. I phoned the tour operator who basically did not want to help and was hung up on. Luckily for us the staff at the airport were incredibly helpful and managed to get my husband on a later flight out and an earlier flight back, we accepted this as we would not have been able to reschedule due to other trips booked. The safari itself was amazing and everything we hoped for our guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and I cannot fault the safari experience. However we did miss the first hour due to waiting for my husband to arrive and he missed the last hour due to his earlier flight. I messaged Viator requesting a 25% refund due to the problems encountered. The first request was refused, I requested a second time, again refused and was told the case was closed and that I had to accept their decision as final. I emailed several times with regards to this but the emails went unanswered. Very poor customer service by both Viator and the tour operator they used. I have used Viator a number of times but will never use them again.
The experience is great for solo travelers! It is a must do experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about safari animals
Our Guide Kelvin was amazing He was very knowledgeable And actually saved us from what could have been very disastrous. We had a member of the party who felt the need to get up close and personal Kelvin did an amazing job remaining calm and keeping the situation under control. In addition he gave an overall once in a lifetime unforgettable experience.. I highly recommend this tour and Kelvin as your guide definitely 5 plus stars
