Old Montreal Guided Food Tour with 8+ Local Delicacies Tastings

Description
Step into one of Old Montreal's most striking buildings, a former grand bank turned café, for a classic smoked salmon bagel that kicks off your Secret Food Tours experience in style. From there, wander the cobblestone streets to a local épicerie for a Québec cheese and charcuterie board full of regional flavor (on select days, this is swapped for something sweet instead). Next comes our secret stop: a spot locals love and most tourists never find. Tucked into a historic street, this Greek taverna serves authentic Mediterranean dishes: think fresh salads, house-made dips, and grilled specialties. What exactly you'll taste stays a surprise until you're there. No trip through Montreal is complete without poutine, so we keep it classic: crispy fries, squeaky cheese curds, and rich gravy. The province's top comfort food! We finish with two stops side by side: real Québec maple syrup straight from the forest, followed by a scoop of maple syrup ice cream.

The tour guide, Chantal, did a wonderful job making us feel welcomed. She also kept the tour interesting with her knowledge of the local area and it's history. On top of that, the food was very tasty. It was slightly different than is specified in the description, but we are glad that it was. Our favorite foods were the carrot cake and the Greek lamb dish. Thanks again, Chantal, for the great tour.
Chantal was wonderful! She was very personable and a great guide. There was a good variety of food options, but we especially liked the Greek restaurant and poutine. This was a great way to start our trip to the city!

Nathalie did an excellent job on this tour. We got the taste of Montreal we were looking for. A great selection of restaurants or venders. We enjoyed the afternoon. We went back to the venders for a shop, venders we likely would have missed without this tour.
It was a pleasure to welcome you. Knowing the tour became such an enjoyable part of your time in the city is exactly what we hope for. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Secret Food Tours!
This was a very nice food and history tour. Nathalie was enthusiastic and knowledgable. There were five additional guests above the maximum of 16, due to a scheduling mistake of some sort. Nathalie handled that well, but it slowed things down a bit and made the smaller-sized stops very cramped. Overall we had a great time.

Not only was each food stop amazing, our guide showed us around old Montreal and told us all about the history of the city. It was an immersive tour with many incredible bites. She also gave great recommendations about where to go for the rest of our stay in Montreal, both for food and sites.

Our guide Darren was extremely knowledgeable and we loved hearing all about the history of Montreal. The food tasting choices were excellent, the lamb and the salmon bagel being standouts for me. It was a great first day in the city activity for the whole family!

Our tour guide, Chantal, was a little ball of fire, great personality! My work colleague and I only had one free day in the city before our meeting started and this was the perfect tour. We got to see the city and try some great food. BONUS: The actor, John Malkovich, was in the market where we had our first "taste" and I can assure you I will spin this to all my firends as I had bagels with John.
Thank you for your feedback! It’s always good to know guests enjoyed every part of the tour. We’d be happy to welcome you back to Secret Food Tours.
Come hungry- there is plenty to eat and enjoy. Natalie also gave us a lot of local history/color and made a point to speak individually with every guest
