Description
This section is great for beginners or the experienced rafter with over 20 continuous class III & IV rapids. With plenty of places to surf and play, you’ll see why thousands of folks return year after year to raft this classic 5-mile run. Starting just below the Ocoee Dam No. 2, you’ll encounter your first big rapid, Grumpy’s, then its on to Broken Nose, Roller Coaster, Table Saw, Hell’s Hole and many more. Top that all off with a great place to swim about half way down and you’ll certainly become “one” with the river. Our wonderful river guides will help make your adventure one to remember. Must be 12 years and older.

Wonderful family outing (from 16 yrs to 72 yrs old). Our guide, Cherokee, was adventurous but we felt safe. The trip was a fantastic way to spend quality time together!
Aaron did a fantastic job along with our raft Pearl in guiding us safely down the Ocoee and directing our rowing. He told us about the river and history of the area. All of the staff were high energy and good story tellers. They made the trip fun and all were well trained at keeping everyone safe while having a thrilling adventure.

Fantastic whitewater rafting experience! Great value for the price too. I have done other rafting in West Virginia and Pennsylvania previoulsy, but this one was hands down the most fun. We had an experienced guide, Chad, who knew the Ocoee River rapids so well, that we tackled them wth confidence & everyone stayed in the raft. Very little down time compared to other trips I have done. Would do it again!
Such a fantastic and fun time. The guides were awesome, the rapids were way fun, and the overall vibe was exactly what I hoped for. We’d 100% book with them again if we make our way back!
Cannot say enough about this organization. We have used a few companies in the area in the past, but this experience was top-notch from start to finish. Accommodated a last minute reschedule, great price, the staff was very helpful and our guide (Sydney) was the best we ever had. They are the best in the area. Don't go anywhere else but Cherokee.
