Our Nubian village tour with Eco tours was great, with no surprises. On the day of the tour, they will reach out to you on WhatsApp and meet you at the pickup spot, as scheduled. Our tour guide, Haba, was good. This tour is a must do activity in Aswan, it is truly one of a kind - highly recommend it!
An amazing experience to spend a pleasant morning in Aswan. We were a group of 8 people and in addition to getting a group discount we had a great Spanish speaking guide for ourselves. We were picked up at the gate of the cruise ship, boarded there, sailed along the Nile, stopped at a beach and finally arrived at one of the Nubian villages, where we entered a house to taste local food and drink, take a picture with baby crocodiles and have the guide tell us the history and culture of this village. In the free time we took a tuk tuk to climb to a viewpoint with very cool views. Fully recommended.
I really liked it, I highly recommend it. The guide and the community were great. It was very interesting. ...................
The excursion was a 10/10. Complete, with a guide (Ahmad) who was attentive, he explained everything patiently, and adjusted to our needs at all times. I have seen complaints about aggressive sales in the Nubian people and it was not our experience at all. The guide is responsible for tipping every person we interact with except the boat driver. The only catch is that we hired a guide in Spanish and it was in English. They explained that it was for booking the tour without much time. I wasn't gonna put 5 stars on it. But our wonderful ahmad guide deserves nothing less.
A very charming place, the boat ride wonderful, without a doubt an essential excursion.
Very disappointed with this visit which started well enough; picked us up with a boat, a little tour to see the surroundings: temples of nobles, botanical garden... this mini cruise is very pleasant. But arrived there... we visit ONE Nubian house ( with poor crocodiles locked in a cage of a m2...then a quick tour in an alley where there are ONLY souvenir shops...very oppressive people cling to us for us to buy...in short it doesn't even make you want to look I'm not even talking about prices... they tried to sell me. a tablecloth made in china to 80th 😅 in short we who stayed in Aswan on the elephantine island..well I can say that we are air bcp closer to Nubian life than in this village catches tourist....
The boat ride there was interesting watching the scenery of the Nile. Once there we visited a home where we got to see a couple crocodiles and have tea. After that, all we had a chance to do was shop. The sellers were quite aggressive even grabbing me by the arm. Two young children grabbed my hand and led me to their parents stall. They wouldn’t leave until I tipped them. It should be advertised as a shopping trip as really that’s all It was
