Learn about its Gothic architecture, sacred art, and role in Parisian culture through one of three guided options: Interior Guided Tour (Exterior + Interior Guided): Start with a 30-minute guided walk around the Cathedral, then enjoy scheduled access for a 30-minute guided visit inside. Stay as long as you wish afterward. (Max. 25 guests.) Exterior Guided Tour with Interior Access: Enjoy a one-hour guided tour of the exterior, then use your scheduled access to explore the interior on your own. (Max. 25 guests.) Semi-Private Guided Tour: A small-group experience (max. 5) combining a 30-minute guided tour outside and 30 minutes inside via regular entry, offering a relaxed and personal pace. The tour is available with an English- or French-speaking guide, depending on the selected option. Admission to Notre-Dame is free as it’s a place of worship; charges apply only for guided services.

Our private tour of Notre Dame Cathedral totally bypassed the hour-long line to enter the cathedral – great on a 100-degree day. Our Guide Diana was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job explaining the various contents and history of the Cathedral. She used her IPAD effectively to show what things looked like before the fire, what the interior looked like immediately after the fire for comparison to present day. It is a miracle that the stained glass survived only for Macron to replace some of it as a part of the post fire rebuild. Things that were at either end of the cathedral were undamaged. Most of the damage to contents was where the flaming roof collapsed in the center section. She also explained all of the statues and symbols on the façade of the building. I highly recommend this tour.

I met the guide outside the church, and he prepared us for the interior visitation. We learned about the construction and the materials used for the church construction. The historical information was very interesting and useful. Then, we visited the interior and followed the information about each chapel construction.
