We did a semi private tour of Notre Dame. In the beginning, it was easy to arrange. The meeting place was easy to find. In the guide was pleasant. From the beginning of the tour guide, Madeline was so knowledgeable about the past history of Notre Dame through the rebuilding after the fire! This is a must do for anyone interested in Notre Dame!
Ice cream is excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and explained everything prior to our entering. It would have been nice to know that the crown of Thor is only available for viewing on Friday. But it was well worth the price of admission to get such a complete history and have the time to just walk around the church.
Great overview of Notre Dame - knowledgeable, gracious guide. Avoiding the 90 minute entrance wait big plus.
The only real benefit was the express entrance into the cathedral. The guide was informative and gave a brief overview of the history of the cathedral outside of the entrance. Was not allowed to go inside so after her little educational session, she took us to the entrance and we were on our own from there. If you can get express entrance into the cathedral without a God, you would be just as better off. The guide herself was knowledgeable and friendly.
Great way to find out about the history of Notre Dame, the stories behind many of the structural details, and the changes made after the recent renovations.
Great tour and very accommodating to me. I use a wheelchair and she was very conscious of where would be the most accessible. She was very knowledgeable and funny.
