Met at 10am - spent a few minutes discussing rebuilding after the fire. Our Guide, Monty, took us through some exterior as well as interior history, restorations, and artwork. Can’t imagine all we would have missed out on without this tour.

We had a wonderful experience on our small group tour with Monty. We give him the highest reviews. He is very friendly and oh so knowledgeable! We learned about the history and cultural significance of Notre Dame. He went into depth of Notre Dame pre and post fire, discussed how the French Revolution affected Notre Dame, discussed the architecture and explained much of the artwork and religious artifacts inside the Church. The tour was interesting. We learned a bit about the exterior. But we really booked it for the timed entry into Notre Dame. When it came to our turn to go into the church. We were informed that the church had cancelled our group’s reservation for entry. This is not the tour company, Uncle Sam’s , fault. But we were promised a partial refund. We paid $130 for 2 people. We were only refunded $13. That is unacceptable, when entry into the cathedral was the only reason almost all of us on the tour booked it. I expected at least half back!!
Natalie was an excellent tour guide. She gave us plenty of historical information as well as information about the recent fire.
