Enjoy the amazing wonders of the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. You'll be picked up from your hotel or bus stop for the hunt of a lifetime, Northern Lights hunting. You will travel in a comfortable minibus equipped with a good Wi-Fi. Your tour will be guided by experienced aurora experts who use the best tools available to select the most suitable locations to capture the Northern Lights on any given night. Your guide will take complimentary photos of you and the aurora, which you can access after the tour. As you gaze at the sky, you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a candy bar. If the lights don’t appear, rebook for free on the next available night. The Northern Lights are one of the major attraction in Iceland. Seeing them dancing in the sky with colors of green, red or even purple is an experience of a lifetime.

Pickup Locations & Times
The pick up starts at 21:00 and can take up to 30 minutes. In SEPTEMBER the pick up starts at 22.00! Please be ready at your selected location. Due to traffic regulations, we can't stop at all hotel entrances downtown, so please read carefully if you will be picked up at your hotel or at the nearest designated Bus Stop (usually no further than a couple of mins walk). Our driver/tourguide Josef was fantastic! Even though Mother Nature didn't cooperate and we weren't able to clearly see the Northern Lights during our tour, it certainly wasn't' due to a lack of effort of Josef's behalf. He took us to multiple sites, shared lots of interesting facts about Iceland during the drive, and warmed us up with piping hot cocoa as well. Our thanks to him for all that he did to provide a great experience.
Mother nature does dictate your experience, but we got lucky the sky was clear for us able to see some aurora light. The guide was very knowledgeable and nice. We were very pleased with the whole trip.
Amazing night for the Aurora!! Iosef provided great photos and the night was amazing!! Made sure we had plenty of time for Aurora watching and nature did not disappoint!
Our guide Nelu promptly drove us to a nice secluded spot to view the lights! He was an amazing photographer and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. I’m extremely satisfied with this once in a lifetime experience! And the hot chocolate was a lovely touch :)
Nelu is the man! Driver/tour guide/ photographer in one! Pick up was smooth, cool ride, nice playlist and amazing photos. I was traveling solo, this tour is excellent since it is just a small group, luxury of space and comfort, with hot chocolate and sweets and lastly photos are free! Isn’t that amazing? Sent us the photos even before we drove back to Reykjavic. I can’t thank you enought Nelu 👍👌🤗
Dreadful! Tour company cancelled the Tour because of cloud cover 8mins before our pick-up time. We were still stood waiting at the bus stop 20mins after pick-up time. Only found out about the email after calling them. Managed to rebook for the next day. Confirmation email states decisions to cancel are made at 3pm, so why weren’t we informed earlier?! Completely understand complications due to weather. Our time in Iceland is limited to a few days. Our time is precious & we could have made alternative arrangements.
Nelu our driver was great, picking us up on time and taking us to our first spot. We saw some incredible lights but we were then taken to a 2nd spot that was arguably better! The evening was cold so hot chocolate and treat were really appreciated. Highly recommended!
Hawk - our guide was superb. At first, we thought we would not see the northern lights because of the cloudy skies, but he took us to where there were clear skies. We saw the northern lights dancing above us, it was a dream come true. The photos taken by Hawk were also nice, but I personally prefer the photos my husband took 😂 The hot choco kept us warm and the chocolate wafers tasted soooo good, I even had to rush to the grocery store the next day to look for one 🤣
Iosif (pronounced Yosef) was a wonderfully enthusiastic guide. We started out in a snowstorm in Reykjavik with little hope of seeing the Northern Lights, but after driving out of town, the skies magically cleared and Iosif spotted the Northern Lights from the van. He pulled off the road and told us where to look in the sky. Sure enough, we saw the aurora, but it was relatively dim. We went back into the van to warm up but after a few minutes, Iosif excitedly told us to come back outside and the aurora was much brighter -- a magical and awesome sight. He then took many pictures of everyone with the Northern Lights in the background. We would not have been able to fulfill this lifelong dream without Iosif's persistence and keen awareness of where and when to look to the skies. An amazing experience!
Great trip to see the northern lights. Iosef was a very knowledgeable and great guide. The snow was bad but that didn’t deter him. Took us straight to a great spot and wow. Would highly recommend 😁
