After Ohrid, this program will take you on a scenic drive along the lake to other sites like Bay of Bones, Monastery of Saint Naum and Lin Town. Discover the charming old town of Ohrid, a city that seems untouched by time. Ohrid boasts a history that stretches back to ancient Hellenistic times, passing through the eras of the Roman Empire and the Ottoman Empire. With is its remarkable fusion of Orthodox and Islamic architecture and with an astounding number of 365 churches, each symbolizing a day of the year, Ohrid is truly unique. As we stroll through the enchanting streets of the old town, we will explore the main churches, such as Saint Sophia, Saint Jovani, and Saint Clement. We'll also marvel at the medieval Samoil Fortress, visit the National Workshop for handmade paper, and immerse ourselves in the rich culture at the Ohrid Amphitheatre, among other captivating experiences that await us in this remarkable city.
Continue your scenic drive along the lake's perimeter. Short stop by "Bay of Bones" to learn about the history of the site.
Following our yourney by the lake, we will soon encounter the Saint Naum Monastery. As we admire the ancient Byzantine architecture that has stood for a thousand years, we'll proceed to explore the monastery's interior. Inside, we will pay a visit to the central church of the monastery and relish the picturesque view of the lake from this vantage point. For nature enthusiasts, the monastery also houses captivating peacocks, adding to its overall charm and beauty.
Re-enter Albania and enjoy a leisurely drive along Albania’s lake perimeter, taking in the beautiful scenic views along the way. As we ascend to the lofty heights of Mount Qafe Thana, we will encounter and pass by Lin Village. Enjoy the breathtaking vista of the village and the lake while you return back to Tirana

Tour was as described. Genti was knowledgeable as was the local guide. You visit the city for a little over a hour, then free time for lunch, then a monastery that has a swim opportunity in the lake. Recommend taking swim gear.
A great day out to a beautiful town. A very comfortable trip and a well paced day. Genti was great and shared lots of history along the way. Would have loved a little bit more time at the Monastery, that was the only part of the day that felt a little rushed but a great day trip overall

A long drive but worth it to experience the beautiful town of Ohra and the stunning lake. Tour guide Mandi did a great job.

We travelled with Mandi (Armand) our tour guide and had a blast! We were a group of 50 people but he was able to manage the trip quite well. He's funny and friendly which made our trip memorable. The trip is very laid-back and it lasted for 12 hours — 3 hours were spent in Ohrid. It was too short since the city has lots of things to offer. This trip is best for anyone looking forward to visiting new countries but has not a lot of time. I highly recommend this trip and wish you have Mandi as your tour guide.
the day before the trip, we were advised of a nearby pickup point instead of hotel, which was reflected at the time of booking, though the bus passed right in front of the hotel. overall trip was good
Really great experience! Our guide was fantastic and did his best to entertain our quiet group. The views were gorgeous. I only wish I had brought my bathing suit to swim during free time.

My partner and I really enjoyed our trip. If lasted 11 hours from collection to drop off, there were plenty of comfort stops to use the toilet and stretch our legs from sitting. The coach was very modern with air conditioning and leg room and the seats were really comfortable. The tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure we were looked after, he passed us on to our walking tour guide in north Macedonia very smoothly. We stopped 3 times. In Lake Ohrid, the bag of bones museum and St Naum monestary. So much to see, places to stop and take in the beauty. Very much recommend. A great day out.
