The Saint-Paul Saint-Louis Church, a stunning example of 17th-century Baroque architecture, is renowned for its grand façade, intricate interior, and serene atmosphere, making it the perfect meeting point to begin our Paris food and wine tour.
Nestled in the charming Marais district, Place Saint-Catherine is a picturesque square known for its quaint cafés and historic buildings, offering a peaceful escape in the heart of Paris, just steps away from the starting point of our food and wine itinerary at the nearby Saint-Paul Saint-Louis Church.
Place des Vosges
This beautiful 16th-century hôtel particulier (private mansion) was once the residence of the powerful Duke of Sully, a key figure in the reign of King Henry IV. Today, it serves as the headquarters of the Centre des Monuments Nationaux.
Located just a short walk away, the Musée Picasso is home to an impressive collection of the artist’s masterpieces, and we’ll pause briefly outside this historic museum, taking in its beautiful façade before continuing our culinary journey through the Marais.
Stroll through one of Paris oldest market and pick up some cheese.

We did the South Marais tour. Our guide, Faye, was engaging and knowledgeable. We are not necessarily big-time foodies, and my wife only seldom drinks wine, but this didn’t seem to matter. We enjoyed exploring new cheeses and wine and learned about croissants, baguettes and patisserie. The meeting location at Place des Vosges was beautiful. This excursion was not near where we were staying, but we are so glad we booked it, taking us to a totally different Paris neighborhood. A worthwhile experience.

A true journey into the heart of Le Marais! Each stop allowed us to discover authentic shops and tasted yummy french products. The bread was just amazing and perfectly paired with the different cheese. The highlight of the day was the wine tasting masterclass in a beautiful wine cellar with our guide. It was really fun and I would say a must for wine and food lovers!
