Supervised by the legendary Kabuki musician Denjiro Tanaka , who also performed at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. The show expresses Japan’s cultural icons—ninja, oiran courtesans, and taiko drumming—using the evolving performance techniques of Kabuki, passed down from the Edo period to the present. A cast of top-tier performers immerses audiences in a unique world through non-verbal expression that transcends language barriers, offering new adventures and surprises on your journey. Located in the heart of Shinjuku, the all-weather venue features an 80-minute performance, making it an ideal addition to your Shinjuku sightseeing plans.

The show is broken up into several Acts: 1st act is drums. 2nd act set the story. I want to take the moment to highlight two key factors: first and foremost the lieutenant ninja is a fantastic martial artist and she was a joy to watch perform. In addition the strobe light fight made the show for me. This show is somewhat subjective: if you get past the slow start in my opinion, you get an excellent kabuki show with good costumes and production value, and actors who are putting in a lot of hard work. The slow start does detract a little bit, but I do not want to make this sound like a bad thing; this is an excellent show and you will enjoy it.

Great experience. Come a bit early to get your complimentary popcorn and order a drink. The whole ambience is great. The show is very immersive and has an intimate venue feel. Bathrooms are clean and look cool. Beautiful show. Amazing host who gave plenty of time to take a free picture with the cast if requested.

Great show! The location was easy to find, and it is well signed from the street. After scanning in, I was given a short brochure and a coupon for free popcorn. There’s lots of stairs, so keep an eye out for level changes while looking around. I grabbed a drink to go with my popcorn and got a free coaster to go with it. The show started promptly and it was high energy and engaging. Music and lights to go along with everything. There was a short demo at the end, and then they had the opportunity for pictures with everyone. I had a great time, and would recommend it. Minor note - there are parts that are very loud, if that is a sensitive area for you.

This was super lame! It’s all pretend sword fights they never actually touch swords it’s just a bunch of dude running around doing somersaults. Best parts are the first 5 minutes of drums, and the 1 woman in the show. it’s all down hill from there, no climax, no understandable plot, snore fest after the drums. Was tacky and the 2nd half of the show was not a show at all, it was having the audience and kids interact with the MC and more fake pretend plastic swords. This is a tourist trap, I don’t even see how kids would enjoy this let alone paying adults.

Great theatrical show with story telling through drumming, Ninja and dance, really enjoyed to sit bavk and relax and watch this show, great they had audience participation in the second half.

Wasn't great. There were three sections; a drumming section at the beginning, a story in the middle, and an interactive session at the end. The drumming was interesting; the story was kind of silly and not very compelling, and by the time we got to the interactive session I just wasn't in the mood any more. My wife thought the whole thing was terrible.

It is fun theatrical show. Most of it is entertaining.Kids may enjoy the show since it has sword fight and Ninja fights.
