We get picked up on time at our hotel and did a customised itinerary (Bai Dinh pagoda, Trang An boat ride, and Hoa Lu Ancient Capital) from 8:00AM to roughly 7:30PM including all travel time. Our guide Minh was very informative and communicative throughout the day, even recommending his favorite banh mi place in Hanoi for our dinner. We were provided lots of water and had plenty of rest breaks to accommodate an elder in our group. Would highly recommend doing the tour with this vendor and guide.
We choose a customised route (Bai Dinh, Trang An, Hoa Lu) because we would like to accommodate the elderly. Indeed, this is something they still can do with minimum skipping of the point of interests. Minh is knowledgable and fun. His English is also much better than our other tour guides. He is also helpful in recommending restaurants. What could be improved is the car. It will be better if the car provides wifi and USB charger.
