Great tour guide, could have been a longer cycling route as that was the best part. The day was a bit slow and a lot of sitting. Beautiful landscape, would have liked to experience it more, it was very touristy were the route went.
Our guide Vu (Victor) was very helpful, funny and shared a lot of information. Our driver was very nice too! Overall the tour is well organized and delivers what is described. I only expected to see more from the temples and village, but we saw the main thing. I would recommend it!
We were lucky with the weather was overcast as in would have been hard work in the sun. The mist hugged the hills making it very atmospheric. Do not be put off by a little rain as it made the hiking far more refreshing than otherwise. Firstly we cycled to the emperors temple to explore and learn about the Vietnamese dynasties - super interesting with some very dramatic characters. Had a very yummy lunch... Go for the spring rolls and goat if they're on offer. We then had a leisurely boat ride but my bum was sore (bring a jumper to soften your seat ). Then we challenged ourselves to climbing both routes at tam coc - watch out steps are slippery when wet. It was a busy fulfilling tour combing history, boat ride and hiking. Victor, our guide, was witty, knowledgeable and an excellent story teller. We felt well looked after and I can see the amount of work/consideration that went into this tour. Thank you for making our trip to vietnam unforgettable, Victor and gang.
Loved the boat and electric cart combo ticket that takes you up the river then on to visit a few more sights oof caves and temples
The pick-up of all the guests and the drive to Ninh Binh takes quite some time but the bus was okay. First stop is a (very short) bike trip to a temple. The bikes were quite old and rusty. The lunch afterward was okay. Second stop was a boat trip in beautiful landscape. Our rower expected 50.000 tip which we thought was a bit much. Third stop was my personal highlight: climbing up 500 stairs to the lying dragon at Mua cave to enjoy a stunning view! Our guide Quy was very friendly and gave interesting information about the sights an Vietnam in general.
The guide was really competent and funny. He explained to the group a lot of things about the Vietnamese culture. The only negative note, they gave us water in the bus that was hot. When the temperature is more then 30 degrees, I would recommend to bring a fridge with fresh water Also it would be great to spend more time in Mua cave, 1 hour is really tight
A pleasant excursion with many activities, bike ride, boat trip with cave, hake and good buffet. Our group of four are very happy and think it was a fun full day😀 our guide Quy did a good job of herding us around and entertaining us. Recommended😀
Amazing adventure. Thanks to Quy for being an amazing host. Loved the experience. Must book. Told us about the history of Vietnam and Ninh Binh.
Quy is a fantastic tour guide! Very informative, well educated on the history of Vietnam and super friendly. He made sure to look after us in every aspect. Whether it was water, AC, photos, lunch arrangements. He check in with us throughout the day to ensure everyone is fully aware of what the next stop is, informed us when we will stop for a bathroom break. The bus itself was beyond our expectations, it had a great AC, USB ports and spacious leather seats. The itinerary was sent over to us by Quy before the day of the l excursion and he checked in with us to see if we had any questions/concerns. We have done many excursions over the years and this ranks amongst the best, the same applies to Quy as a tour guide and I wish him all the best. Anyone who gets him on their excursions, will have a fantastic experience. Thank you for looking after us in such a meticulous manner.
It is a very entertaining and well organized tour. Prouesya activities are a good way to get to know Nihn Binh. Our guide Mister Quy has been great. Totally recommended.
