Itinerary
7h30 – 8h00: Our limousine bus will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to Ninh Binh. With a journey of about 2 hours from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, you will experience the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace and poetry of the countryside area.
10h30: We arrive Hoa Lu, then go visit Hoa Lu ancient capital of Dai Co Viet in 10th and 11th Century by bicycle. We will visit Dinh King Temple built in the 10th century, finding out the Heroic histories of this king and old Vietnamese Architecture style as well as the history of ancient Vietnam. 11:45: Enjoy buffet lunch with local Vietnamese cuisine at local restaurant.
13h00: Visit Trang An by 2 hours by bamboo boat. During the boat trip, you will be surprised by the charming beauty here with paddy field, river, water, cloud, sky and stunning cave system. All make a masterpiece which Vietnamese people called “Halong Bay on land”.
15h30: Climbing up almost 500 steps of Mua cave area, you can reach to the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here 17h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi. Around19h00: Get dropped off at Hotels in Hanoi
16h45: We go back to the bus then return to Hanoi. 19h00 - 19h30: We will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Tour ends!

We enjoyed a full day with Leo to Mua Cave, Hua Lu, Trang An and a bicycle ride through the rural parts of Ninh Binh! Highlights were the caves in Trang An, the stairs up to the dragon and pagoda at Mua Cave and seeing the work ethic and spirit of the people in Vietnam. Phuong was very kind and helpful to organize us and send us tips along the way! Greatly appreciate his responsiveness and caring ways. Highly recommend!
What a fantastic day! This is my 7th time in Hanoi and 1st time to hike Mua Cave and boat ride thru Trang An. I’ve always gone to other areas. Henry was a great guide as he had lots of knowledge about the areas we went to. He also gave us fun information about food and local traditions. Although it was a long day, it was very enjoyable and fun!
I’ve been on a lot of tours and Phong is definitely up there with one of the best tour guides I’ve had. He’s super friendly and has great energy. Would definitely recommend others to book a tour with him!

This was a great tour! Our guide Happy was very personable and kind. He knew a lot about the history of the area of Ninh Binh. We started with a short and peaceful bike ride to the temple and old palace grounds, then had a buffet lunch, followed by a row boat ride up the river. Definitely recomend this tour you want to take a day trip to Ninh Binh!
