10h00- 10h30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam in the 10th century, visit the King temples. Under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnamese history. Relax before lunch: - A short bike ride with tour guide : Get on a bike and start cycling to explore the beautiful scenery and limestone mountains with a unique route (optional and free of charge) - If you don't wish to cycle, feel free to explore the village on foot or rest at a local restaurant.
12h00: Enjoy buffet lunch at a local restaurant – goat meat dishes is the local specialty ( Vegetarian foods are avaiable ) 13h30: Arrive Trang An and spend about 1h40 - 2 hours exploring Trang An– the core of natural heritage in a Sampan boat (4 people per boat), rowed by a local people. Explore the amazing cave tunnel system and passing through sacred temples associated with legends in the history of Trang An.
15:30 - 16:00: Get back to the Bus then leave for Mua Cave. Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here.

An unforgettable day in Ninh Binh – made even better by our guide, Cuong (“Golden Goat”)! This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. From the moment we booked, everything was handled professionally. The communication beforehand was clear and informative, making it easy to know what to expect. On the day of the tour, the air-conditioned bus arrived right on time, the pickup was well coordinated, and the whole experience got off to a smooth and stress-free start. Our guide, Cuong (aka “Golden Goat”), welcomed everyone with genuine warmth and kindness. From the very beginning, he created a friendly atmosphere and made sure every guest felt comfortable and included. Throughout the day, he shared fascinating insights into Vietnam’s history, culture and daily life with enthusiasm, humour and passion. He was always happy to answer questions, offered great local recommendations, and his positive energy never faded. The itinerary was perfectly paced. We started with the climb to Mua Cave (Dragon Mountain), where the spectacular panoramic views over the limestone mountains and rice fields made every step worthwhile. We then enjoyed a relaxing bike ride through the beautiful countryside before stopping for a delicious lunch, with vegan options available for those who wanted them. In the afternoon, we visited the ancient temples of Hoa Lu, where Cuong’s storytelling really brought the history of Vietnam to life. We ended the day with the Trang An boat tour, which was the perfect finale. Drifting through the caves and waterways surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs was peaceful, breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve experienced before. Everything throughout the day was exceptionally well organised. The transportation was comfortable, the schedule was well managed, and despite seeing so much, we never felt rushed. It’s a fantastic way to experience the best of Ninh Binh in just one day. A huge thank you to Cuong for making this tour so memorable. His professionalism, kindness, knowledge and infectious enthusiasm made all the difference. If you have the chance to join this tour, I hope you’re lucky enough to have him as your guide.
