7.30 – 8.00: Pick up guests in hotels from Hanoi Old Quarter 10:10: Arrive at Hoa Lu ancient capital 10:20: Visit the King Dinh temple 11:20: Visit Mua Cave enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of mountains and river. 12:30: Enjoy a set menu lunch at a local bungalow. 13:30: Enjoy a sampan boat trip in Tam Coc 15:15: Cycling around the mountainous area 16:00: Swim and enjoy a sunset tea break 16:45: Get on bus to go back Hanoi 19:00: The tour ends in Hanoi
Visit the first ancient capital of Vietnam in 10th and 11 century. Visit Ding King and Le King temple that they were built in 17 century. You have a change to learn more about history and culture from your tour guide here.

Great trip. It was a small tour group of 6 people. A lot of hiking and biking. Our tour guide Nội was very nice and informative.

Real Vietnamese experience. No swimming or sunset party during my tour, but I loved anyway. Bike, boat, hiking, genuine dishes, for me it was more than satisfying

Thanks very much to Peter and our driver for making this one of the highlights of our trip. It was just the three of us, so very intimate which I enjoy compared to the larger tours. Prompt pickup, scenic drives accompanied by bouts of history and fun facts that provided context for our Ninh Binh tour and time in Vietnam. Well paced, food was delicious, and the homestay with pool, family, and their cats was a great chill end before our departure back to Hanoi. Each leg was well planned. We had a wonderful day full of adventures in Ninh Binh. We hiked, boated and biked around what we believe is one of the most breathtaking area in the world. Our guide, Truong, was very friendly, well-organized, and taught us a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. The food was plentiful and delicious. Such a wholesome experience that we definitely recommend!

Pick-up from hotel was on time, bus was very comfortable with air-conditioning reclining seats and USB phone charging points. Visited 2 temples at Hoa Lu which were surprising beautiful and interesting, climbed to the top of the Hang Múa viewpoint that was spectacular, visited the Mua cave, had a delicious plentiful lunch at a small resort, then took a short bicycle ride to begin a boat trip that was scenically beautiful and very peaceful after a busy morning. As we were an active group, our tour guide Tien then offered for us to cycle for longer than initially planned around Trang An that with the slowly descending sun was a real treat. We then returned by bicycle to the resort for a swim in their swimming pool to cool off and have some drinks before returning to Ha Noi. It was a truly special day that ranks amongst one of the best experiences I have ever had across more than 30 countries. Tien our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, had a very good command of English, was sensitive to the dietary needs, interests and dynamics of our group of 8, and is an all round wonderful person. SIMPLY AMAZING DAY!
