Itinerary
Arrive Hang Mua and hiking up to the peak of Ngoa Long Mountain for the amazing views of all the Tam Coc area. Enjoy a special lunch prepared with the traditional cuisine featuring the yin-yang balance of the Asian culture.
Enjoy the stunning sceneries on a sampan rowed by a local to explore Tam Coc, the limestone caves area stretching along Ngo Dong river which is known as “Halong Bay on the land”. Enjoy the journey along the river with the peaceful scenery of special karst mountain surrounded with rice paddy and the sight of some ancient temples along the way.
Take a bike and start riding around the village to explore the gorgeous rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains with a unique route and visiting a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house architecture and their daily life.
Visit Bich Dong Pagoda under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnam history and understand the origin of Buddhism.

This tour was one of our favourite days in Vietnam and exceeded expectations. The day was filled with many activities, the food at the local restaurant was very enjoyable and the scenery/ landscape we saw was absolutely beautiful!

What a great tour! A full day with lots to see, but never feeling rushed. Fantastic lunch (which we earns by climbing the steps to the dragon for a great viewpoint!). Our guide was really knowledgeable and entertaining, and the driver was always in the right place at the right time, with the air conditioning waiting for us!
Excursion with simpa guide and helpful "leader", it gave us details about the ancient capital hoa read we liked the landscapes of the land halong bay with a boat ride breakfast included
Excellent day trip from Hanoi, taking in the major sites of Ninh Binh. It’s a full day, but does not feel rushed (nor does it drag). And they allow you to tailor the physical activity to your comfort level.
Sell more seats than there are available and warn at 5am in the day then if the excursion starts 7am that you are not going.

Brilliantly organised trip and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Ninh Binh. Gorgeous views, well worth the walk up although steps are quite steep at the top of the walk. Nam was a wonderful tour guide and made the day very enjoyable.

Nam was an excellent guide – cheerful, engaging, and full of interesting information. The environment was wonderful, though not as striking as I had hoped. I’ve been to more impressive places. It was also quite touristy, which is understandable given how easily accessible it is, but the number of tourists took away from the atmosphere a little. If you’re choosing between destinations like Sapa or Ha Long Bay, I’d probably skip this one. But if you have extra time in your itinerary, it’s still a worthwhile addition.

We had a tour in Ninh Binh with our guide Tom. Was really great. Tom is an excellent guide, very friendly and flexible. I would recommend him to anyone visiting this region.
