Bob Marley's Birthplace and Mausoleum is located in the Parish of St Ann Jamaica in a rural district known as Nine Mile where he was born and laid to rest. This Wonderful Tour also showcases and celebrates the life of the Legendary Reggae Musician Robert Nesta Marley, popularly known as Bob Marley. Learn about his childhood days until when he was laid to rest in his hometown where he grew up and where he was inspired in writing some of his hit songs. This guided tour will educate you about Bob Marley's life from Childhood, throughout his musical career where it all began, and how his music lives among us today. -Enjoy a 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes driver depending on your pickup location in one of our newly Models air Conditioned Vehicles. -Be entertained with live commentry from your driver/guide on route to Nine Mile. -Drive through the town of Browns Town on route to Nine Mile. -Enjoy a 1 hour guided Tour with a Rastafarian Tour Guide at Nine Mile. -Now you will return to your pickup location taking that 1 hour or 1 hour and 30 minutes drive down the Mountain.
Browns Town is the largest inland market town in St. Ann and is situated in the western interior part of the parish. Its previous name was Hamilton Town, which is the first name of its founder Hamilton Brown. The Ministry of Education Region Tree branch is situated in Brown's Town and is responsible for the operation of schools in the Parishes of St Ann and Trelawny. Other places of interests you will be passing by are: Brown's Town Community College, Brown's Town Primary School, Churches, Schools, Shopping Centre and Bus Park.

Pickup Locations & Times
For all travelers from Hotels and Cruise Ship Ports, you will identify your driver by the Company's Sign and Logo as listed on your booking confirmation email. FOR HOTELS: We pick up all travelers at your hotel lobby. UDC/TURTLE BEACH PIER PICKUP INFO: The pickup location and meeting up with your driver will be at the Harbor Shop Shopping Center which is located outside the Cruise Ship port. The Harbour Shop Shopping Center is just a three-minute walk from the port lobby. You will identify your driver by the Company's Sign and Logo at the Harbor Shop Shopping Center as listed on your booking confirmation email. Please see the attachment for a Map and a Google Maps link as guide to assist with your pickup direction leading to the Harbor Shop Shopping Center pickup location. -After you exit the port Lobby gate continue walking straight and do not turn off. It's a straight walk. -Continue walking ahead along the walking path for three minutes. -Look ahead you will see your driver with the Company's Sign and Logo as listed on your booking confirmation email. REYNOLDS PIER PICKUP INFO: You will meet up with your driver at the gate exiting the port just before you get onto the Main Road. -After leaving your cruise you will go to a Bus parking lot on the port. -From the parking lot you will be able to see the main road from here. -To the left of the bus parking lot is the gate to exit the port. -Once at the gate, you will see your driver with the Company's Sign and Logo as listed on your booking confirmation email.

Courtney arrived exactly on time and was smartly dressed. We had a smooth relaxing drive with Courtney asking us if we wanted to stop for drinks, the guide at Bob Marley’s birthplace gave us a detailed authentic tour. Our return journey with Courtney was equally pleasant with a stop off to enjoy road side jerk chicken. Praise to our lovely guide Courtney.

A very surreal and spiritual experience, very humbling, memories that will stay with us forever. Coopa Tours were awesome , our driver Albert was very professional, informative and a really nice guy. Would recommend this trip and this company. Great trip for reggae lovers, and fans of Bob Marley. You get to see where Bob was born, where he lived and now where is at his final resting place. It was very humbling.

A must-visit to pay respect to Bob Marley... If you have your transportation entrance fee is only 35 US per person. Very narrow roads, not for everyone to drive on....You have parking within the complex...

This excursion was 10/10. From the driver Desmond, to every tour guide on the property and entertainment. Desmond was very knowledgeable and accommodating our entire ride!! First time ever in Jamaica! Came to find family, and hang out at the Riu Hotel Resort Ocho Rios. I've always wanna to visit Bob Marley's birthplace to see where it all started. It was a spiritual event for me. Loving Reggae music and Bob's music. It all came together for me while there. Our Driver/Tour guide, C. J., got us there in one explorative piece. Navigating the mountain side winding road was exciting enough. The drive leading to Nine Mile Village, and everything in between, was a learning experience for certain. Learning a good amount about Bob's family is enough to for anyone to see how he loves family. It was a GREAT tour to participate in. It was nice not too much. The entertainment was good. The drive was a ways a way. Overall great experience to see where Bob was staying and see grave site.
