I couldn't be happier with our guide, Yumiko. She was so knowledgeable as well as gracious and kind. We enjoyed our day with her. She was always considerate of our needs and handicaps; always checking if we were doing ok. She was very experienced; able to time our excursions with the train schedule. The places we saw were great; she knew the best spots to visit. She really made the day for us. I would book any tour that she was guiding.
Dear Laurie and Dean, I am very happy to receive your compliments. I also had the pleasure of spending a day with you. I wish I could have shown more of Japan to Dean, who is Japanese! Please come to Japan again! Best regards, Yumiko Sano
There was major miscommunication between agency and Viator. My family waited for an hour for tour guide to arrive at pickup point. No one showed up. It's difficult, especially since we are foreigners first time in Japan. The agency thought we cancelled the tour through Viator. This was a terrible experience. We will never book through Viator again.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. The trip was fantastic and absolute highlight of the trip. It was perfect to go by train, it made for a full, but not too long of a day. Everything was beautiful and very enjoyable.
Dear Reiko-San and Donna-san Thank you for your kind message. It was really nice to meet you. I also learned a lot from you like the natural beauty of Japan. I haven’t realized how amazing it is when I see it all the time. Please come to Japan again. Best regards, Yumiko Sano
Sad to say my companion was tired of walking thus we cancelled this and went on a Tokyo city tour instead. It was exciting and see all around Tokyo city by public transportation, foodie experience and shopping
It was a very good tour! Guide Mr. Yoki was very nice and gave us a good review of the area. Nikko is must visit when in Japan! Historical shrines and temples are beautiful as well as nature.
I have done many tours in Europe and now a few in Japan using Viator. Hands down our tour guide to the BEAUTIFUL city of Nikko - Yoki Nakajima has been the most punctual, knowledgeable, and understanding guide. Rain didn't even put a damper in our tour. He was very well prepared and ever brought us each a little clear folder with ready materials on all the sights we were going to visit. Nikko was one of the most beautiful places we visited in Japan even though it rained most of the day.
Thank you very much for your generous review. I am really glad to know that you left Japan with a good memory of Nikko. Your review really encourages me to further improve my skills to become a truly professional guide. My goal is to make the customer's tour a unforgettable, happy experience of his or her life. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Yoki Nakajima
Our tour of Nikko this time was very exciting. The guide I took was not only knowledgeable but polite and kind to us. The time I spent was comfortable indeed from the time I met him until the end of the tour. It was an unforgettable memory in my trip to Japan.
