Travel from Nashville, aka Music City, to the Mississippi and experience legendary Memphis on this full-day tour.
After the 4-hour journey, celebrate the history of rock ‘n’ roll with a visit to Elvis Presley’s home, Graceland. Use your VIP-access pass (complete with a souvenir lanyard) to visit the burial site of 'the King,' walk through the Elvis car museum, and see two deluxe airplanes used for tours and traveling. Take time for lunch on your own at Graceland (own expense) before re-boarding the coach.
Next, head to Sam Phillips’ famed Sun Studios, located in the heart of downtown Memphis. Take a 1-hour guided tour to see what the recording process was like. Hear tales of how legends like Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, and the King himself got their start here.
Afterward, see the famous Peabody ducks make their way down the red carpet from their fountain to the elevator as they head to bed at the lavish Peabody Hotel and learn how this unusual tradition was started.
Then spend about an hour on your own to explore Beale Street, famous for its blues and barbecue, or take a short stroll to the Memphis Rock 'n' Soul Museum (admission is your own expense). Depart this lively downtown scene for the return to Nashville, with drop-off at your hotel after dark.

Gray line bud tour once again didn’t disappoint. Pick up and journey no problem. Great driver with lots of experience and information. Very knowledgeable and friendly. First time in Memphis and Graceland was as fantastic as we expected it would be. Very impressive and although busy we found the lovely gardens and gravesides peaceful and beautiful. The legendary Sun Studios was also well worth the visit. Our guide once again wonderfully knowledgeable and friendly. A great way to spend the day and highly recommended.
Great trip, fantastic driver (sorry I cant remember your name) well organised and a smooth running day. Graceland is amazing ! VIP pass is great and your also have a room dedicated to the group which is air conditioned. Sun studios tour was great and also the chance to spend time in Memphis at your own leisure. We went to the Peabody hotel to see the famous duck march and then had a light tea before heading home - a great day out
Great experience. Bus was comfortable and Leonard the driver was entertaining and a very safe, competent driver. Graceland was terrific and jam packed with information and memorabilia. Sun studios was also excellent. Beale St and the Peabody ducks were a great way to end the day. If u like Elvis this trip is a must.
It seems like it might be a long day but it is filled with so much interesting history. Better than we expected!
What a great trip. Visiting Graceland was awesome but the visit to Sun studio topped it all. Frank, our driver with Gray line was a great guide / driver and did a fantastic job of getting us back to Nashville under horrendous weather conditions
This was my bucket list trip. It was better than expected! Perfect day!!!! Easy pickup at the station, comfortable ride, stops along the way, fabulous driver! The people at Graceland were so accommodating! I can’t say enough good things.
All in all we had a very enjoyable day. Graceland was well worth a visit. All the members of staff were very helpful. Our driver was excellent and his humour was really entertaining. Found Sun Studios to be a little disappointing but having said that it was still worth the visit. The guide was very informative and the memorabilia was good to see but the actual studio didn't impress. The visit to Memphis was disrupted by a thunderstorm but it certainly didn't spoil our visit.
What a day!!!! I’d say it was “Once in a lifetime” but I will be back. So many different gift shops available, I spent a small fortune but when I get back home, my memories will live on
