Itinerary
The five-story pagoda and other beauty of the 1,300 year old temple.
Todaiji Temple is famous for the Great Buddha. Of course, the Daibutsu is very impressive, but there are many other attractions here that will fascinate you, such as the Nigatsudo Hall, which was built to lean out from the cliff.
One of the most historic shrines in Japan. The precincts have been maintained as a sanctuary, and virgin forests remain. Enjoy the mysterious space.
Enjoy lunch recommended by the guide during the tour. Let your guide know at the beginning of the tour what you would like to eat.
Visit a Japanese house built over 100 years ago in the Naramachi district.
There are many old-fashioned buildings remaining in Naramachi. The Japan you have not yet seen is hidden at the end of the narrow alleys.
Nara Park is world-famous for its friendly, free-roaming deer, considered messengers of the gods in Shinto tradition. Visitors can interact with over 1,200 deer, feed them special crackers, and even witness their polite bows. These gentle creatures make the park a unique and unforgettable experience.

Takashi did such a wonderful job as our tour guide. He completely immersed us in Nara history and culture. Would strongly recommend this tour with Takashi. He is so friendly, knowledgeable, and inviting.
Great experience in Nara. Our guide did a fantastic job guiding us through the key sites of the city. Wonderful experience
Teppei is a super friendly and knowledgeable guide. He really goes out of his way to tailor the day for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in Nara and would recommend.
Yuya was a wonderful guide! He taught us about Japan’s history and added a few places he thought we might be interested in along the time. He didn’t rush us at all, in fact he helped me locate the goshuin at the various temples and shrines we went to. We ended up going past our booked time but he didn’t mind and still didn’t rush us through anything. Absolutely recommend Yuya!
Takashi was an amazing tour guide- full of information and took great pictures for us! Really showed us so many sights and we were really moved when he he did a prayer out loud at both the shrine and the temple - would recommend this tour to everyone!!
The tour was excellent. Akino was knowledgeable and fun which made for a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
This was fantastic! Satoshi was simply incredible and extremely knowledgeable. We are so glad we decided to do this tour.
This was amazing. You may think you could go by train to Nara and feed the deer without a guide, but if you do a tour, especially with someone as dedicated and knowledgeable as Tak, you will see hidden gems and get more out of your trip. Highly recommend.
My friends and I took the half day Nara tour with Akino and had the loveliest time! We were fortunate to have perfect outdoor weather and Akino was so knowledgeable and familiar with all the places we visited. She efficiently navigated us through the various temples and shared a lot of interesting information that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the rich history of Nara. Chatting and shopping along the way , it felt like we were visiting an old friend who was sharing her home town with us!
We had a great time Yoshi our tour gide was great!! We loved the temple and the shrine visists and feeding the deer.
