Nakipenda is a beautiful place to visit. You just need to go at the right time. We decided to go early in the morning and it was worth every minute of it.
The beach itself was great, but when we landed on the island and visited the tent, they said this was a different group. We were asked to share the fruits and other things that the boat next door had, and the quality of the tour is poor in this regard. Also, taxes to land on the island apart from the tour fee? It seems that such a cost will cost $20, and it is better to make sure that this is also known on the site.
It's really a paradise. It has white sands and turquoise waters. We had a full day of sunshine. It's a must-see excursion
Crystal clear water soft white sand Nakupenda was pure magic.... it is Peaceful, beautiful, and worth every second.....
The excursion to Prison Island and Nakupenda was a mix of emotions: * The giant turtles: they left me speechless. It's understandable, they're really fascinating creatures and meeting them is always a special moment. * Nakupenda and snorkeling: The island was too crowded, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the beauty of the sea. It's a shame when the crowd ruins an experience that should be relaxing. * Lunch: The organization and Quality of food were excellent. It is great when a practical aspect such as the meal is handled impeccably, making the moment pleasant and tasty. I am pleased that despite the tiring journey, the overall experience was positive. Sometimes, even the most tiring adventures leave a mark and a beautiful memory.
Refreshing experience, try to go in off peak season for the full experience and less congestion at tourist attractions.
Beautiful strip of sand that appears at low tide and from which you have to leave around 4 pm. On one side the sea is rough while on the other it calms flat. However beware of currents that are very strong. The only flaw is that there are many people and many improvised gazebos to entice the break of the many people present every day. It is still a beautiful experience to do and do again if you come to Zanzibar.
This tour is NOT reliable. We came to old fort at 850 looking around for a guide and we waited till 9:15 but no one showed up. The locals helped us and told us that this guy is not reliable and does this to a lot of guests. We tried calling him a couple of times and he didn’t answer. Then an hour later once we had taken a private boat he texted me apologies, boat delays… I do not recommend to anyone!
They did not pick is up. So we had to book with someone else. Send texts and called and they never answered. Both on WhatsApp and on the app
We were met as arranged and went by boat to the sand bar. We were the first there and were able to walk around, collect shells and swim in the clear water without others around for quite a while. The awning put up for us with groundsheet was perfect and we were each give a large bottle of water and a coke and orange soda. During the morning we were given a very generous tray of fruits which was amazing. We had booked for a morning 4hour trip which was long enough for us as it had got very hot and busy on the sand bar by midday. A perfect experience
