My teenagers enjoyed the experience. The hosts were very nice and taught a lot. They shared the recipes. Overall an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend.
We were welcomed to Jorgi’s special place, Mykonos Farmers, and immediately were captivated by his genuine love of life, of all things cheese, and taking simple ingredients to make for a truly special and memorable family evening In Mykonos. Chef Alex’s kind, humorous and even-tempered demeanor enhanced the cooking experience and helped to keep our teens engaged and throughly involved. To say that we were stuffed by the end of the meal we created together is an understatement. We left with hopes to one day return to see our new friend, Jorgi! We wish him continued success.
This cooking class was awesome!!! We visit Mykonos Farm and had a cooking class with George. George was a delight. He comes from a family of cheese makers and cheese was plentiful! As was the wine! Was a private class for our family of 6. The class skewed towards demonstration - 2 people helped, 4 people watched which was perfect for us. We made filo dough and several dishes with it - onion pie, cookies, rafioli, bread sticks, pizza. We also made meatballs and tzatziki. Would give it 5 stars, but downgraded one star for value (was a bit expensive).
My wife and I greatly enjoyed the personal experience of understanding the simplistic methods of cooking and way of life for Myconian families. George and daughter Christina were truly a pleasure to spend time with and we feel the experience was a true highlight of our trip to Mykonos. We are thankful there are genuine people like them that work to share the heritage of their culture and family values… of course the food was above expectations of which exceeded already high expectations of the quality and taste of food.
My husband and I loved the personal cooking class. We were able to cook authentic greek food with women who were born and grew up on Mykonos. They were so kind and fun to cook with. The food was delicious!
