A must do if visiting Gdansk. Soooo much information to be had at your own pace if you hire the headphones. We were here for 2 hours. Just wow!
Very very comprehensive Museum that covers all the repressive regjmes that appeared prior to WWII. The combined operations of the Germans. Italians, Japanese, & Russian resulted in the deaths of at least 20,000,000 people. The exact count will never be known. This staggering carnage was brutal beyond comprehension.
This trip was outstanding and the guide was very good and informative. 5 stars and I highly recommend.
One of the most amazing museums we've ever visited. Strongly suggest visiting this museum! Give yourself plenty of time b/c it's huge, but well designed and easy to get around!
Booked on line a day before our visit. Excellent museum. Very informative and brilliant architecture of the building. Didn't bother with the audio as the displays are in English and subtitles on the audios. Worth a visit. Very informative.

Exceptional experience, well presented unbiased history - a must for everyone visiting Gdansk, we bought our tickets on-line along with the extra tickets for our headsets, printed them off - and avoided the queues at the museum. No tour guide needed in my opinion.
Thank you so much, motherbird1961, for your positive feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the museum’s presentation and that purchasing tickets online made your visit smooth. You’re absolutely right—allowing at least 2.5 hours really gives you time to take in all the history and details.
We went to this very interesting museum in Gdansk. There is lots of exhibits and is very informative. It has coat hangers and lockers for your bags etc before you go to see the museum. If you are in Gdansk it is a must to visit.

We had a two-hour guided tour as a part of a staff trip. Very happy with our guide Olga - guided us in Norwegian. Knowledgeable, with a personal touch. Good exhibitions. Personally I most certainly want to revisit with more time on my hands :)
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re delighted to hear that Olga made your staff trip special with her knowledge, personal touch, and guidance in Norwegian. We look forward to welcoming you back for an even longer visit!
A well-made museum about World War II. Good signage between departments. Just follow the arrows. Particularly interesting were the parts where there were built up streets as it was at that time.
Tack för din recension! Vi är glada att höra att ni uppskattade museets utställningar och de rekonstruerade gatorna som gav en känsla av tiden.
Very good museum, everything has been put together with thought and attention to detail, so much fascinating information and plenty to see. Really great place to learn more about WW2 and Poland's struggles. Highly recommend.
