A Not to be missed museum

Make time for this well done, thorough, artistic presentation of the Revolution. Excellent pacing of information. Thoughtfully done. And the cafe has reasonable prices.

Must see in Philly

Great experience for anyone interested in an in depth experience on the revolutionary war. Prepare to spend at least a day. We arrived at 11 and stayed until 6 and still didn't see everything.

Phl historical tour

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The guide was very knowledgeable. Although I think your site should make it more clear you will probably not get to go inside Any of mentioned buildings along the route. We could have made earlier arrangements to tour some of these buildings on our own.

Museum of the American Revolution is a "must see"

If you are going to Philadelphia and are interested in the historical aspects of US Independence, you should not miss spending time in the Museum of the American Revolution. While the collection of items that date back to the times of the Declaration is interesting, the best part of the museum are the educational displays, videos and posterboards that present an overall view of the times and individuals key in the independence movement. If you are not on a docent led tour, taking advantage of the audio tour is a must to get the most from the museum. Don't miss the "Washington's tent" presentation. Great for kids of all ages.

Wonderful museum

Incredible museum with so much fascinating history. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Leave yourselves at least 2 hours to get through everything if not more time.

Captivating History Celebration

I took the audio tour of the museum, expecting I would leave quickly. I became engrossed in the audio tour, which made me examine the figures, artifacts, and stories closely. In the current climate, the National Park Service is forced to remove “unpatriotic” Revolutionary War accounts. I appreciate that the museum pointedly showed the experiences of varied groups of Americans. I also liked the exhibit of how the War, Declaration of Independence and Constitution impacted many nations through history.
