Itinerary
Meet your local guide and group of just 20 guests maximum in central Venice and walk together to your private boat for a scenic 30-minute boat ride to Murano Island. As you’re motoring out through the lagoon, your guide will point out places of interest and give you a brief introduction to the history of island settlement in Venice.
Once in Murano, your guide will make an introduction to the island and share recommendations on how to spend your time there. Murano is the home of Europe’s most respected glassmakers since the 13th century. See this cherished tradition come to life at an exclusive glassmaking demonstration inside a glass factory. You’ll have some free time to explore Murano at your own pace following the demonstration.
Your next stop is the island of Burano, whose brightly colored houses you may recognize from photos. What you might not know is that they’ve been the home of Venice’s legendary lacemakers since the 16th century. After a guided tour around the island’s picture-perfect canals and squares, you’ll have time to explore on your own and visit the local shops.
The journey continues to St. Erasmo Island, long known as Venice’s vegetable garden for its fertile soil and artichoke fields. This quiet lagoon island is also home to a historic winery whose wines were once poured for Venetian nobility, including the Doges. After a walk through the vineyard, the visit concludes with a glass of their wine that reflects the island’s distinctive terroir and centuries-old winemaking tradition.
Board your private boat for a scenic ride back to Venice's Piazza San Marco. If you prefer to spend more time on Sant'Eramso, your guide will share transportation options to return later on your own

Barbara was an amazing guide for us
This was our 7th tour during our Italy trip with Walks & Devour Tours. Every single one has been amazing and would certainly do more tours through them. Alessia S was an amazing and very knowledgeable local guide! Wish her all the best!
Alessia S was excellent! So kind , explained everything so well. Super sweet and from Venice! A true local experience!
Fantastic experience of the islands!
Jennifer was a fabulous guide! Loved spending an afternoon with her
Jennifer was a wonderful host, knowledgeable, friendly and patient with the three kids in our group. It was scorching hot out, and she found ways to keep us all comfortable and enjoy the artisans that make Venice so special.
Very much enjoyed this afternoon tour of the three islands. Barbara was a wonderful guide with lots of local knowledge. The experience on Murano however was a little disappointing as I expected more time to explore the island and I would have loved to have the opportunity to visit another glass factory and see more contemporary glass work. The time on Burano was perfect and the visit to the St Erasmo winery was the perfect way to end the day. Loved the small group too.
What a great tour!! Barbara was fantastic.
Anna was the absolute best tour guide we have ever had. She was so informative and accommodating. Anna is sweet, kind and funny. The three islands we saw were wonderful. Book this through Anna if you can. You will not be sorry!
We had an absolutely amazing time on our tour with Bea! It was booked as a group trip but we were the only party so it was basically a private tour! The glass blowing demonstration was very informative and the gallery was beautiful, with time to shop and purchase if desired. The lace demonstration and shop was also a good find. They take you to verified local shops that have been around for many years. The highlight was the winery as this winery is only available for this company and was wonderful to learn about the wine, taste and enjoy a view of the lagoon! Bea was very informative with all the facts and history of burano, murano and Venice. She was accommodating to our wants and needs and set the expectations HIGH for future tours. All fees were covered in the booking price.
